***I've had to edit this review. While I like the reachers very much, I've had two snap in the past year, at the joints where the plastic joins the metal. My own fault I guess, because in one case, I picked up an items that was too heavy, and today, I tried to use another to slide a box of papers across the floor. They still work, kinda, the gripping part just dangles but you can hover over objects, and grab some of them -- it's like one of those claw machines you find at arcades. I've had about ten years experience with reacher-grabbers -- originally because a family member had a stroke and some other medical issues that made it hard to pick things up off the floor. And now, following back surgery, I'm restricted from bending over to pick things up. These are nice. When you unfold them, they latches are easy to secure.. The ends can be rotated 90 degrees for awkward narrow spaces. The handles are comfortable, and the gripping ends provide fine control. (Picking up a dime is easy. Occasionally, a slip of paper will prove daunting.) The magnets mounted on the outside of the ends are handy for bobby pins and similar items. They can lift fairly sizeable objects, though the manufacturer recommends not lifting more than 3 pounds. I recently broke one from another manufacturer by underestimating how much an item weighted. These seem hardier. The extra long one is handy, but really does require two hands if one wants to lift the object onto a table or bed. One to hold the handle, one to support the shaft. Of the dozen or so grabbers in our home, (one in every room, plus spares for when one of them gets misplaced or wanders off) these are the best I've found.

For someone who's short with a bed back fantastic I have two of them one for downstairs one for upstairs helps me get things high up and it also helps me get things that fall behind furniture.

They do the job, little weak and flimsy but overall good. Especially if you are handicapped or just short

I like these and bought 2 more. Good length and grip. Stronger then what I expected in picking items up. Glass bottles, cans and items both small & large have been no problem to hold on to. I really like the fold up style plus the length. Makes it easier on my back.

These are great if you have back issues

This is a great grabber. Both of them. First of all they fold down to a very compact size and have a strap to tie them up and they don't take up much space at all. But when you do use them you can tell a difference. The handle is comfortable the trigger is nice and easy, the claw has a very powerful magnets in it and also has a very great grip. I grabbed a bedpost and hung onto the grabber only and leaned back. At 250 lbs the grabber kept me from taking hanging onto that bedpost. Great value for the money because you can take everything I started upstairs and double it!

There are so many uses for these "grabbers". When I don't want to get down on the floor or reach in inaccessible places, these items are great. The longer one is good for outdoors, picking up things in the yard, etc., and I use the smaller one more indoors. The ease of use is great! It is easy to store, and I like the magnet on the end to pick up small metal things. Great product.

One of them was broken and it wasn’t worth the hassle of having to go buy a box and I’d have to go get the return label printed so I super glued it and it seems to be working OK for now I don’t know how long it’ll last? The other one works great!
