I’m just looking for a single speaker which i can connect through bluetooth. is there anything else i would need to order with this item?

No need to order anything additional with the Lithe audio bathroom Bluetooth speaker. I am really pleased with mine, it connects to my iPhone via Bluetooth very quickly and the sound is good quality with no distortion etc. They are not very loud though, but perfect for our bathroom.

The instructions say to either connect via the lighting wiring or just 'plug in to power'. What type of plug/adaptor do I need to connect it?

Hi Steve These are the passive speakers, and the others are active. Active speakers have an in-built power amplifier and just need a power source (or battery) to operate, where passive speakers require an external power amplifier to operate. In short, you need an amplifier for passive speakers, you don't with active speakers. Hope this helps!
