These are an absolute godsend, especially with me working in Poland. It also helps me communicate with my tattoo artist and she’s learned a lot of English using these while communicating with me.

To use the translator, you must download an app, and pay to use the app, otherwise the device is useless. This was not mentioned on description, so I recommend everybody not to buy this product. I didnt want to pay for the app so I dont know if this products works well or not.

The box doesn't come with instructions, on use, just basically a QR code to download the app you need for it. The app at times doesn't work well and doesn't always verbally translate from the phone what I'm saying to the other person, though when they talk it translates the vast majority of the time. It says I can press the button on the device to speak, but it doesn't work at all. However, it could, but there are no instructions on how to use it. When you enter speaker mode it says touch the device, but I can't get it work without touching the phone. If I give my phone to someone else for use, the other person has to hold the phone upside down, as my language is only available on the bottom portion of the translation screen. So, if I want to talk to them, they have to hold it upside down so I can tap the screen without them handing my phone back. You can flip the top screen so it'll be right side up for me, and right side up for them, but the app is just a mess, and I can't figure out how to get the device to work. Ive basically bought new headphones for music, which, I will say, has good sound quality, which is why I even decided on 3 stars. If you want to translate, just get a free translation app, don't waste money on this

These earbuds are very clear, yet very uncomfortable. When I brought these, I did not realize or know that in order for them to translate, the other person has to have one and you have one in your ear in order for it to translate on your phone, which I think that it is unsanitary for another person to put the earbud in their ear. They can also hold it in their hand, according to the online instructions and it can still translate on your phone. I thought that if you put the earbuds in your ears that the person could speak, and it would translate for you but that it not the case. I've been looking and there are better ones out there.

I was at a meeting over the weekend where there were providers from other countries well set the device to their language and we were able to communicate better. There is a slight delay when use these devices but I believe they will come in handy when interviewing patients.

First of all how do I get the one year subscription, that sounds like false advertising. Second of all I thought when you put these on you would be able to hear the other persons language in your language without them knowing, or listen to a song in Spanish and it tells you the English version, or even watching a movie in Spanish and it interprets in English, this is definitely not what I expected at all!! I thought I could go to the nail salon and understand what they are saying to me or about me without them knowing that I know what they are saying…
