Good as drawing paper
I use this vellum bristol paper for pencil drawing, and like it a great deal for that purpose. Heavy enough, sturdy, with a nice amount of tooth on one side, smooth on the other side.

This is not vellum
If you are looking for vellum (semi-opaque paper with a waxy-like finish used in scrapbooking and wedding invites) look elsewhere. This is not vellum. This is just ordinary cardstock with the name vellum in the title. I was sorely disappointed. I'd return it but it's not worth the hassle for the $10 back. What a disappointment
