You Can Still Make It In The Market by Nicolas Darvas (the author of How I Made $2,000,000 In The Stock Market)

Really easy to read and easy to apply as well in the stock ,are of today. Highly recommended. The best part is how to keep looking until the stock proves itself.

Darvas always kept it simple and so critical when in the market. Doesn't hurt to learn from a successful trader

A very good companion to his 1st book, How I Made $2M in the Stock Market, worth re-reading a few times!

The first book , how I made 2 million is a classic and I reread it every few years. It has so many insights. This one is just a bit of a rehash. At this point Darvas was clearly frustrated by the 1970's stock market. I think you could learn more by just reading the first one again, it was a fun read nonetheless .

For me his first book was a little too abstract. But, with this second book he really brings his theory down to Earth. He explains his investing strategy in practical terms; spells them out. This book is easily worth the $10 I paid for it, and will likely aid me in earning much more than that. Thanks to the author for his kindness.

I have been a successful trader for 25+ years and am a fan of the Darvas Method amongst many others. I suggest reading his initial book at first and then picking up this one. Are they the holy grail of trading books...no, but if you carefully read them and pick up many of the thoughts and techniques they will enhance your trading. In fact many other successful traders, some well known, have reffered to the Darvas books in one way or another.

Its a nice classic book to get motivated in trading in the stock market. I ve read his another book, How to make 2 000 000 dollars in .. which is also very nice. Although, it s not helped me with my stock market trading. Cause by now I can write my self a book called, How to loose one million dollars in the stock market within just three months....good luckHoutan

its just amazing how gifted darvas was as an author.such a difficult, dry subject transformed into easy to understand, easy to follow andtherefore very educating material.reads like a wonderful story, but contains so much knowledge.brilliant!

This book was written in the 70s after Darvas already had his main successes he writes about in his first book. The purpose of this book is to show that nothing has changed, and you can still make it in the market. Darvas had to find a way to present his system to "the big boys" so he put his system to paper and made his system more clear than his first book - which is why i say it's arguably better: 1) more clarity on the system 2) get to see more of his thought process with golden nuggets scattered throughout the book 3) proof nothing changes years after his main success. And if you study other great stock traders from the past and today, you'll realize nothing has changed "because people don't change". MUST READ FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN DARVAS!

Came across this book in my quest for knowledge on technical analysis of stocks. This book is easy to understand and more importantly sums up various concepts like trend following, breakout, resistence etc in easy language. Must read for every beginner in trading.
