Pronunciation Practice Activities with Audio CD: A Resource Book for Teaching English Pronunciation (Cambridge Handbooks for Language Teachers)

Great book for ESL teachers especially when working with pronounciation. Too bad the disc was not included with the order. Lots of helpful practice work for student and teacher.

The language is British English on the CD but I really like the activities. A major complaint is that the activities have to either be re-typed because the print is so small or photo-copied and zoomed in a lot. I would like more worksheets to utilize or a teacher's book to coincide with this book. Over all a very resourceful book.

To my dismay, the CD and references in the book are based on British accent -- not North American!Other content in the book is helpful in several instances -- but this is not the help that I had hoped and expected.

This book is vital in the ESOL classroom. An excellent choice of exercises that can be repeated with tweaks. Very well organised and explained. I'd be lost without it.

The book is simple and very useful. You can find activities for all levels and for different pronunciation features. There are also some fun activities.
