Good size for seven year old, it should last the rest of primary school. Fits a4 sized books in the main compartment. There is a smaller second compartment which fits a5 sized school books. Also a wallet pocket in the larger section. Well made. Appreciate the extras such as bottle holder, clip to attach key rings to and handle to hang up with.

Massive bag. Bought for a large 5 year old but this bag is more like for a teenager. The rubber pull tabs on the zips came off quikly too
