The seat is 17 inches between the arms.

Q: Does this chair and ottomancome shipped fully assembked?

No. It requires assembly. Took me about 20-30 minutes.

Q: What tools were necessary for putting the glider together?

Pretty sure it was just a Phillips head screw driver but it’s been awhile. Wasn’t hard for assemble at all. Did it myself with zero help.
