So these lids are awesome. The only reason I want lids for my drinks are to keep bugs out of it and to keep the carbonation for awhile. I stopped using the lids at one point because they would POP open at any given time! Not only would it scare the heck out of me lol, but it also got the drink all over the place! I decided to take a thumb tack and make the tiiiiniest hole on the top of the lid to reduce the pressure inside the can. Now of course that limits the time your drink stays strongly carbonated, but I find that even with the tiny hole my drink did a great job of keeping its carbonation for awhile. And again, for me I just wanted something to keep bugs out of it while I was outdoors and the tiny puncture definitely didn’t ruin that. Finally no bugs, a carbonated drink, and NO LID POPPING OPEN.

This worked exactly like it said it would, my soda stayed fizzy. The only issue is since they are so tight you have to finesse it onto the can, not just force it on (like my husband tried to) which will end up bending the can.

The whole lid pops off if you only take a little out of the can.

I use the lid cover for tonic water I don't use completely....which is pretty much every day. It's easy to attach and keeps the liquid bubbly for use the next day.

It works well. My suggestion is that you advise the buyer to apply the lid with the unopened can first. Otherwise appliying the lid with the can opened will cause the can to bend and spill contents. Also apply the lid so the opening in the can matches the lid, so contents can flow from the can without spilling the liquid.

These lids are only meant to keep stuff out of your can. They are not spill or leak proof of jumbled around the bubbles will start to come out the seams. I turned my can upside down when it was a fourth full to test out it’s spill proofing and the top popped off immediately.These are great for covering your soda. Probably not for overnight saving but while your sipping away at work or the beach these lids are great to keep bugs and debris out also to claim your soda so no one gets it. Fits Fresca dr P and many other normal size cans

I have discovered that the lids do help to keep soda fresher a little longer when I use them in conjunction with an insulated can cooler. However, I knocked a can over that was on my nightstand the other night and didn't realize until morning. Fortunately, I had some tissues on the stand. The can did leak, but it did not all pour out. What seeped out was absorbed by the tissues, so I didn't have much of a mess. Without the lid, there would have been a big mess. So, I have increased my rating from a 2 to a 3. My original review is below:The soda goes flat just as quickly as it normally does. I could use it to prevent spills, but that's not what I was looking for. Because the lid sits so far above the can, soda pools all around the top of the can and gets trapped. If the soda sits on my desk for 30 minutes, the pooled soda starts getting a little "syrupy." That seems "un-hygenic." I'm disappointed with this product and will look for a different design. This one is not doing what I bought it for, but it is good for preventing spills. If all you want is a lid to prevent spills, this will do the job. If you want something to keep your soda fresh, keep looking.

They do keep the fix . I am concerned that they are very thin and may not stand up to repeated use

The media could not be loaded.  Fits and is easy enough to open and close. Unfortunately that may be part of the problem that renders this product useless.It takes under two minutes for the pressure from a can of carbonated water to pop this lid open. Depending on how tight the seal is, the sound can be quite loud. Of course it also clearly indicates that your can is no longer covered properly.I considered making a small hole for the gas to escape but decided that would be defeating the purpose. However, without a fastening mechanism to keep the top and bottom secured to each other, this product is fatally flawed and pretty useless.

I was so excited to try these since we started buying cans of pop instead of 2 L bottles. Wanted something to keep my can fresh and not lose fizz if I didn't drink the whole thing. through the night heard a POP sound and they literally fly off the can. Tried several times and over and over the same thing happened. Do not buy, they are useless.
