Works AirPods 3rd
Better sound than UGREEN earlier versions - really great sound with AirPods 3rd Generation. Longer range too (compared with earlier CM403)! Pairing is easy but you REALLY have to understand how the little LED works; to understand the blinks, colors and signals - it's like listening to R2D2. I buy UGREEN because they are my favorite adapters and cables (sincerely). This is a great workaround if your macOS upgraded to Sonoma or Ventura and MAC based Bluetooth connection seems to fail or not re-connect. One drawback with this workaround is that this transmitter will NOT let you use the AirPod clicks to start/stop, skip/rewind etc. UGREEN device is fantastic at reconnecting and remembering your BT device even if battery runs down.

Lasts a long time
I use this with my classic ipod in a eight hour flight. It works great, connects to all my headphones & lasts over ten hours between charges. Its usb-C & charges quickly. Only used transmit mode. I recommend!

Ditch your phone. Use your iPod.
Two week use update (original review below): So this thing HATES being in pockets. Probably the biggest issue with the adapter. If my iPod is in my front left pocket, the right ear bud I’m using cuts in and out as I walk. And I thought it was just the cheap buds I was using, because they had connection issues in the past with my phone. Sadly, no. This issue has persisted across three additional sets of ear buds ranging from $8-100 in price, and one Bluetooth speaker. If the dongle is in my pocket, audio cuts out of one or both sides. Sometimes it’ll do it just sitting on the desk in front of me, but that is much more rare and only happens regularly with the cheapest set of Bluetooth buds I own, so that is likely more an issue with that specific set of buds than the dongle. Another thing I do like is since this picks up the audio after the internal amp of the iPod, the warmth and tonal characteristics of the old DACs in the iPods come out front and center in the Bluetooth audio. The difference between 5th and 6th gen iPod classics is audible through this, as the 5th gen is renowned for having the best DAC of the iPod classics and the 6th has what is generally regarded as the worst DAC of them all. My 5th gen is way more beat up and has a worse battery and less storage than my 6th gen, but the difference between them is enough that I am reaching for the 5th gen more than the 6th gen. Also to address the latency issue some people have: it depends on your Bluetooth headphones for how much latency you’ll have. In my experience, cheap $8 buds from Five Below have almost a full second of lag. My Amazon Echo has about a quarter second of lag. The only headphones I’ve found where the lag is minimal enough to be able to watch a movie or something with this adapter are my second gen AirPods. The latency is almost imperceptible. So if you’re having major latency issues in your audio, it’s likely not this device and rather whatever headphones you are using causing the lag. Otherwise, still happy with my purchase and I’ve genuinely not used my phone anywhere near as much as I used to since switching. It’s been good to get out of doomscrolling and get back to actually doing stuff. Original review: Super simple Bluetooth adapter. Bought specifically to use my old iPods wirelessly without spending $200 on a Bluetooth upgrade kit (which I will admit looks a lot nicer than this does hanging out the top lol). Does what it states it will do. Range is good, battery life outlasts my tired old iPod battery, and it’s small enough to still fit in my pocket while connected to the iPod. I docked a star due to disappointment in the sound quality. It sounds extremely compressed, even on second gen non pro AirPods, which don’t sound “amazing” but don’t sound bad either. I won’t argue that wired always sounds better than wireless but I was hoping for a bit better quality than this. I suppose I’ve been a bit spoiled by Apple products working best with Apple products and all the work they’ve put into their AirPods communications with iPhones for near wired quality audio. I did, however, buy this primarily to listen to audiobooks, and it works just fine for that. This purchase was kind of a “first step” towards divorcing myself from my smartphone. The convenience of not getting your headphone cable caught on everything while doing something, not having to run them up your shirt every time you want to use them without getting snagged on something, not being able to set the device down and walk around, not having a 3 foot long wire in your pocket that *always* comes back out tangled, and the cables not pulling on your ears the whole time they’re ran through your shirt were all conveniences that I had an extremely hard time giving up. Now I’m using my iPod much more than my phone for all my listening, and not being interrupted with constant notifications, not getting interrupted by the headphones pausing when I take one out to scratch an ear (I know it can be turned off but it’s still annoying), not dealing with cable noise, or videos on an app pausing your music or book is wonderful. All thanks to this little $20 device. Highly recommend to anyone else who finds themselves in the same boat as me.

Good solid unit but still have latency issues
I order two of these units because technical specs indicated that there will be less latency between BT 6.0 units vs BT 5.X units. However, after doing A-B comparison between those types of units, I find that the latency is about the same. I do like the compact form factor of the UGREEN units and the easy pairing. I have not tested the battery life yet but hoping that it will live up to the specs.

Not Bluetooth 6.0 as in the Amazon site description
Not BT6.0 as described. Bought it because description saying it is latest Bluetooth 6.0 which has more stable connection, better latency and better codecs. No where does it say BT6.0 on the packaging, instruction booklet or the BT device itself. I wanted to take advantage of what 6.0 has to offer and future proof a bit as manufacturers comes out with additional features. Latency is also annoying. About 1 sec delay between video and audio and I also noticed split second delay on my headset between left and right (with my Sony WF1000XM4's) which is a double whammy when watching videos. I have one from Mii and Scosche so now ended up with a 3rd with no new features🤷♂️.

Gamer Review - Get it!
Been using this all day on my Playstation Portal since I refuse to pay the crazy price for PS Buds. I have no doubt it will work on other handheld gaming devices but this thing works flawless (as of now lol, time will tell). But as of now, love it. Just set it on TX for my Sony people and you will be good to go!

Great for Ipods!
This is a great, great device to get if you want to listen to your IPOD with Bluetooth headphones. It took me some time to learn how to connect it. At first, I was very, very skeptical it would work, especially because of the price; however, I am very, very satisfied with my purchase. I do recommend watching a YouTube video on how to use it for an iPod, as it does have a bit of a learning curve. The price is very reasonable, especially considering how much it costs to add bluetooth to an iPod. For reference, I have an iPod 5.5 classic

Transmitter won't connect to vehicles
Only does half of what it claims to do. Wouldn't connect to my vehicle's Bluetooth system at all so it was basically useless for the application I purchased it for!

Easy to Use
Very easy to use and works exactly as expected. The setup was simple, pairing was quick, and the connection has been smooth so far. I like that it is compact and practical, especially for using Bluetooth audio with devices that need a 3.5mm connection. Overall, a very convenient product and I’m happy with the purchase.

Consigliatissimo.
