I purchased this pair of Dansko because I had a pair before and loved them. they were black and gray inside. This pair the light cream color inside is awful. since it is a comfy shoe and supposed to be worn the whole day so after two days it turns so dirty as it is shown in the pictures. another problem that I had with this pair unlike my last ones the velcro strip bands opens all the time when I am walking and has made me fall several times. they are such a disappointment unlike my last pairs.

I'm so in love with this sandal. I have capsulitis of the second toe, which is super painful, and usually means I can't wear ANY kind of heel, since my foot has to stay flat to protect the base of my toe. I was skeptical of the rise on these sandals, but I need a little dressier sandal than Birkenstocks for work, so I took a risk. I'm so glad I did. They're like walking on clouds, and they don't hurt my stupid toe AT ALL. I usually take a size 10/10.5, so I ordered size 42, and they fit perfectly. (So this shoe definitely runs a touch small. Order larger than your size.) My feet are also a little flat, and widening with age, so, I'll be real, they're just not very pretty. But these sandals are so flattering that they disguise the ugliness of my giant, unshapely clodhoppers -- and THAT, my friends, is a true miracle. I ordered the camel color and it is so perfectly neutral and sexy in a 70s retro kinda way that I'm literally posting this review and ordering a second pair in black. If you're on the fence, give 'em a shot. I doubt you'll be sad. (They also arrived a full two days earlier than estimated.)

Exactly what I needed! I am very picky about shoes. But this one is just perfect. It is so comfortable that you can walk miles on foot without any problem. The heel is a good height and you can wear it with dresses or pants. Worth every penny!

They just arrived and I LOVE them! I bought a 6.5-7 (37) and I often wear a 6-6.5 Some of the reviews said they run a bit small so I opted for the next size up, I possibly could get away with the 36 BUT, I've had Bunion Surgery on both feet and now have a 2nd toe that's a hammer-toe on one foot (they cut the tendon too short!) this causes that second toe to ride underneath my big toe and that pushes the big toe up. I have to be careful with open-toe shoes that the front edge of the shoe doesn't rub my big toe at the nail bed edge - a very uncomfortable problem when it occurs! SO! I bought a half size bigger. I'm happy to say that there's plenty of toe-box room and the cut of the front doesn't rub my nail bed! I love these shoes, they're a bit 50s retro looking - fun, different! BTW, both the across the toe strap and ankle strap are Velcro although the toe doesn't appear to adjust to an on-looker and the ankle strap appears to be a buckle (its fake). This is my second pair of Dansko wooden platform shoes, they're great! I'm 65 and these are a perfect height, dressy but not so high as to strain knees, ankles or arches.

Best Danskos ever. I have worn Danskos for many years in all their various forms. They are still my go-to shoe. Lately some of the shoes have been running narrow on me. I love that Dansko is finally allowing for adjustable straps over the forefoot. I have very wide feet so these adjust in two places, making them my most comfortable sandals in my closet. I love the Velcro straps so you can really make them fit your foot that day. I have had foot surgery and many foot injuries so I have to have good shoes. I bought them in white at the Walking Company for a wedding and liked them so much that I bought them in the tan and black. I can even deal with their frumpish look. They are that comfortable.

Dansko is one of few brands that help keep my plantar fasciitis in check. My favorite Dansko style was discontinued a few years ago, so I switched to buying mostly Sanita Dawns instead. These are the first Dansko sandals I've purchased for some time, and I can say I now have a strong preference for Sanita. In my opinion, these these Dansko sandals look and feel orthopedic in person. Velcro adjustment straps don't help with that impression, lol. These do admittedly feel okay on my feet, but my main objection is their weight: they feel much MUCH heavier than the Sanita sandals I've grown accustomed to, and I feel like I'm clunking around when I wear them. A shame, for a pair of shoes with this kind of price point!

I ordered a size 8.5-9, they fit great for my narrow feet but my toes hang out! They are somehow short in length. The are comfortable and cute, so I’m sad to have to return them.

I really like the idea of an elevated flat, and there aren't many out there. I first purchased the Stevie by Dansko and they felt like slippers, but with my very thin legs, they looked clunky. The Season seemed to have the same foot bed, so I ordered them. They are also very comfortable but not designed for a narrow foot. I had the top as tight as it would go, and it fit, but this did not allow for the leather inevitably stretching with wear. I had to anticipate that in the near future, they would feel loose. The back strap was the real problem. It is made to look like a buckle, but it is actually velcro. When I tighten it as much as my narrow foot requires, there is not enough velcro-on-velcro to hold it together and the strap kept coming undone. Could I add more velcro? Probably- but, for the price, I don't want to have to do that.

I returned these because they looked much uglier in person. Went with a different dansko sandal which served me very well until I rolled my ankle wearing them and broke my foot. I love the comfort of these sandals (had the same pair in red, wore until they were toast) the colour makes a huge difference in seeing these as frumpy or cute, but ultimately, I can't wear dansko sandals anymore after breaking my foot. I had rolled my ankle in them many times but never broken a bone. Was holding my 26 lb toddler at the time it happened. So if you wear these shoes and your ankle sometimes rolls in them look out!

This is a truly wonderful shoe. The quality of the stitching of the leather upper to the solid base is excellent. Though it would have been nice if the insole was leather it is very well made, cushioned well and comfortable.I love that both the toe area is Velcro as well as the ankle area yet they don't look adjustable, so looks like a shoe young people would wear too. I bought size 7.5 and they are a perfect fit. Thank you

If you love the comfy rocker sole and support of the Dansko XP or Professional clogs, you'll love these summer sandals!! Feels just like my beloved clog but for business casual summer wear! Both the toe and ankle strap have a strong Velcro closure to adjust to any width of foot or instep. Sturdy footbed and solid quality leather construction. Comfy enough for all day wear. FORGET other brands. Just buy DANSKO!!

Bought a similar model of this same shoe 6 years ago and just threw them out last year. I have flat feet and these sandals fit like a glove and give me extra arch support where I have none. Durable, attractive, supportive and great for either dancing or walking, and look cute with dresses, short or pants.! I love Dansko!

I love these sandals. They are cute and fit well (with ample Velcro adjustments that still look like traditional buckle closures)...very comfortable! I have plantar fasciitis and arthritis in both big toes and these are very supportive and well cushioned. Awesome sandals!
