Product is as described, and it works with my V10 with the included adapter. The issue isn't really with the product but with its use with vacuums that aren't intended for this tool. The official Dyson groom tool is only meant to be connected to and used with the upright vacuums, the really loud and powerful ones. My V10 even on the highest setting isn't that strong enough to capture and suck in all the fur when I release the tool. A lot of the times, I have to manually push the fur into the vacuum entry because the fur is clinging onto the tool's surface through static electricity even though the bristles are retracted after releasing the tool. Overall, I appreciate the seller making this available with an adapter at a reasonable price, but your experience may vary depending on your pet's fur.

This is awesome! Usually when I brush my Samoyed, I have to vacuum afterward because hair gets everywhere. This attachment kept the house clean and worked well. I would like to see a smaller brush head version in the future because it is pretty large for small areas like legs.For those who are irritated by the fact that you have to hold the trigger with one hand and the brush in the other, I have one word....TAPE. Duct tape to be exact. Just tape down the trigger then you can hold the dog and brush at the same time!

I have had this tool for several months now and have had the opportunity to use it a dozen times on our dogs & cat. It is by far my favorite grooming “gadget”! It’s been a total life saver for time, hair control with grooming & my sanity!! I have 3 VERY HAIRY pets - 2 Golden Retrievers (1 puppy & 2yr old) and a Ragamuffin (long haired cat). The dogs quickly took to it as they like to “supervise” vacuuming anyways; and they’re used to daily brushing. The cat gets better with each use. Once you figure out your natural holding style of the brush portion (push down & brush) it’s quick and easy to use. The wire pins are similar to a slicker brush for cats/dogs. These prongs quickly and easily detangle fur, remove loose hair and smooths the coat without damaging their hair. Best value for the money!

Works like it described but would've liked to know that i had to hold down the brush button the whole time. Not very convenient to use with a dyson that requires you to hold down the vacuum button too.

Our mastiff mix is a prolific shedder. Her fur is everywhere and it floats around like feathers. We have a few brushes, which work great, but the amount of fur that comes off when she’s brushed is pretty overwhelming and tough to clean up. This helps the process a lot. The brush bristles aren’t the greatest in the world and the attachment itself can be uncomfortable to hold but it gets the job done with minimal mess and stress to our dog. Overall this has been a worthwhile attachment for our Dyson and has been easy to use in our sof.

Was skeptical that it would work on a Great Pyrenees, but does a good job. Wish the brush tines were a bit longer. A bit difficult to brush well from all angles due to the hose from the vacuum. Practice will make it easier though, I’m sure.

What a tool ! . I have two large labs and it cleans them completely. Just as advertised,Only drawback is it takes two people. One hand holds lever down, one for vacuum, another person to hold the dog still. Mine are 80# each and although they do not resist, they amble around to get certain areas of their body done. They squirm like little kids with a haircut.

I love this thing!! If you have a handheld dyson, perhaps you’re like me and realized it’s not as easy to use to clean in certain areas with a stick attachment at the end of the handheld machine. Adding this flex hose between the two is awesome- i find it’s way easier to get in the corners of my stairs and nooks of the car with this.

I have the dyson animal v10 and this hose does not work with a motorized attachment brush ( not stated in the details) and the attachments do not click in and hold tight.
