JioTag Air: Affordable and Reliable Bluetooth Tracker
After using the JioTag Air for the past month, I can say that it's the best and most affordable Bluetooth tracker option out there. Here's what I like and what I don't: What I like: - Apple Find My: Huge Apple ecosystem in India, makes tracking seamless and easy. - Good Build Quality: As a carefree user, I have been using this roughly. It's tagged with my bike key and works fine even after enduring heavy rain during my daily commute. While I'm not sure if it's fully waterproof, it is definitely water-resistant. - Good Sound: The device has a clear sound, making it easy to locate at home. What I don't like: - Not a GPS Tracker: Real-time location depends on the Apple Find My community - Anti-Stalking Feature: The JioTag Air includes Apple's anti-stalking feature, which could allow someone to discover and disable the tag if they find it. This could reduce its effectiveness. Overall, a great buy

TERRIBLE PRODUCT - MINUS 10 STARS
MINUS 10 Stars....ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY. TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE — GETTING HELP HAS BEEN INFURIATING!!! The JIO Air Tag won’t connect to the Apple Find My app at all. It only connects to the JIO Things app, and even then, it only works within an extremely limited Bluetooth range. Moving just from one room to another causes it to disconnect. AND THERE’S NO OPTION TO RETURN IT. I’m beyond frustrated trying to get any support! First, I called the JIO 1800 helpline and was left waiting for 25 minutes, only to be told to visit a local JIO store. When I went there, the staff had no clue about this product and told me to go to a Reliance store instead. At the Reliance store, nobody helped me and just sent me back to the JIO store. No one has offered any real assistance. Now this useless Air Tag is just sitting in my drawer — completely unusable and non-returnable. What a total waste of money and time!

Best in class tracker for Android
I have used these on many different items and literally all around the world. It is the best in class tracker tag for Android. The size is compact, it integrates easily with Android, tracking is great and set-up can be done in minutes. I highly recommend.

Good product
Absolutely love the JioTag Air for iOS! Setup is super easy and it works great with Apple’s Find My app. The tracking is accurate, and the loud alert sound is a lifesaver. Perfect budget-friendly alternative to AirTag!

Complete Disappointment
Writing this review after 1 year getting irritated thought of sharing my review " I bought the JioTag, and honestly, it’s been a huge disappointment. • Zero Location Accuracy: The so-called “tracking” feature is a joke. It just shows a 1 km area circle, which means your device could be anywhere within that range. That completely defeats the purpose of having a tracker. • No Live Tracking: There’s absolutely no real-time tracking like advertised. It just refreshes after a long delay and gives an approximate zone — not an exact location. • Battery Drain Issue: The battery drains every 2–3 months, even when you’re barely using it. Then you have to spend extra money replacing it frequently — a pure waste of time and money. • Pointless Notifications: The notifications are misleading and don’t really alert you when your item is actually lost or far away. It doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to, unlike Apple’s AirTag, which is far more reliable and accurate. • iPhone Connectivity: It connects easily with the iPhone, but that’s where the good part ends — because it doesn’t show the correct device or location afterward. So, you end up with a connected device that’s practically useless."

Smart and Convenient!
I recently purchased the Jio Tag and I have been using it for a few days now, and I must say, it’s quite a handy device! Pros: 1. Ease of Use: Setting up Jio tag is very easy. Download the Find my Device app, press the button for 2 3 sec and get started with google fast pairing! 2. Small and lightweight: The tag itself is small and lightweight, so you can easily attach it to your keys, bags or even your pets without adding any bulk. 3. Battery life: The battery life of the Jio Tag is good and can last for a few days on a single charge depending on the usage. The tab has a power saving power so you don’t have to worry about it draining quickly. 4. Affordable and reliable: Considering its price, Jio Tag offers great value for money. Cons 1. Not waterproof: This is not a waterproof so consider using it in a dry place Final Thoughts: Overall, the Jio Tag is a product for people who frequently lose their stuff and need a solution. It’s compact, easy to use, and effective. However, if you live in an area where the network is inconsistent or you’re looking for the highest tracking with more, this might not be the best option. Still, it’s a good choice for everyday use at its price!

Good for tracking but rings anytime
Overall good for tracking but starts ringing anytime and that's annoying. I had placed in bag and started ringing in office, very much disappointed.

Finally a tracker compatible with Google's find my device network - and it's good!
I had been using a Samsung Tag 2 for about a year now. It's good, but has limitations - particularly being tied to Samsung devices for tracking as well as updating the location. The Jio tracker Go launched as India's first android tracker compatible with Google's find my device network. I used it extensively for last 24 hrs, and I am quite happy with it, and thinking I'll replace it as my tracker for usecase where I otherwise used the Samsung tag 2. The tracker can be added either from Find my device app or Jio Things. As I am not a fan of Jio's ecosystem and apps, I set it up from Google find my device app. Despite Google's default setting being update location only in high network traffic areas - i saw the tracker's location refresh quite frequently, like every 10-15 mins at night and every 5 mins in day. I live in a big city, so this may vary in smaller towns. Additionally, ability to share the tracker is a big plus. I can now share with any android user and not restricted to within Samsung ecosystem anymore. The device itself is of decent build quantity - not as premium as Samsung tracker, but cheaper, thinner and lighter. The Jio tracker isn't water proof either, so you have to be cautious about that. Overall, it's a value for money and a big step towards smart trackers scene in India. P.S since no cases are available, I used an air tag case and cut it out in the middle to allow stretching it to fit the Jio Tag Go in it. Update: I observed that location history is not available in Google Find My app. It only shows the last updated location, unlike Samsung tag which shows a history of all locations where the tag was detected. Also, I noticed people complain about nearby iphone and android devices being notified if the tag has been near them a long time. This is intentional - even a rouge airtag near you will be notified by an iPhone or an android phone. This is to prevent tags being used to stalk people. It's not a shortcoming of jiotag in particular or android tags in general, but an intentional security feature added by Google and Apple. If you are interested, you can read more about how Google's find my device network rollout was delayed while they waited for apple to build enhancement to identify and report rouge android tags.
