works crazy well
Before I discovered this product, I tried multiple different general purpose cords with limited success to fire my perimeter explosive alarms. The cords stretched and lost tension, and were difficult to hide. Once this purpose-made tripwire arrived, my alarms became very effective. You can barely see the tripwire in daylight, and you can't see it at all at night. The tripwire doesn't stretch at all; a week later it is just as taut as it was when you set it. The line is very thin and extremely strong. It comes on a very small spool; I was at first disappointed that the spool was so small, but I figured out that it holds a lot of line because the line is so thin. I highly recommend it.

Amazing UL pack item
This is so perfect for food bag or whatever you carry extremely strong string for. for me replacing paracord where I can, I've studied carefully everything that went into my pack. I'm at 13.72lb with everything you can imagine within reason. To me I thought this was the best option, the case makes it easy to rewind the string, everything about it was great.

Very compact and strong
First the line is very strong and lightweight. I got it for my hiking bag as part of a emergency kit for fishing and general repairs with a sail needle. I like the small roll it comes in for my purposes but if I needed much I would look elsewhere for the price and length. If I remember correctly it’s 75 foot which isn’t as much as it sounds like for most task. I ordered a larger roll for making leather holsters and things and didn’t pay a lot more for 10 times the thread. I will use it to refill the small roll when needed from now on. Depends on your needs if you want something small and easy to carry this is great if you need it for a specific use around the house I’d look elsewhere

The spool itself is worth the money... the Kevlar cord is simply amazing: no stretch so it is super sensitive and flame proof... I know that regular Kevlar cord can cut thru plastic pipe and duct tape (some survivalists recommend you use Kevlar shoe laces to escape duct tape binds) so I tried using this super thin (think dental floss thin) line on a thick (125mm) zip tie: it cut thru like butter.. not once but three times with out fraying! guess what is going in my wallet? a length of this line spooled on an old credit card!

Works
Kevlar line is necessary for trip lines because other line materials will stretch creating a point of failure in the system, a problem you don't want considering the target may merely miss the line stepping over or around it.

Perfect small kit cordage.
This stuff is really strong for its size. You get a lot of kevlar line in a small package. About the size of a silver dollar. easily slips into a pocket. Lite weight and slim. very happy with it.

NOT TRUE KEVLAR! But still good
It is cut easily with cheap multitool scissors. Ignites almost instantly from a small flame, then burns violently. Cut resistance and flame resistance are two of kevlars highlights so there is probably no kevlar in this thread. However it gets three stars for being as strong as advertised and will preform just fine for the advertised use as a trip line. Overall good cord, just not Kevlar like advertised. Probably just miss labeled spectra or similar high performance material.

Exactly what I was looking for.
The 75' of trip line comes in a great little protector case. Took my a few seconds to figure out how it flips open to access the trip line. Bought 5 more for other family members packs. Appears to be accurate as far as 80lb break point.

Best price
Comes in very small package. Makes more than trip wire, at 80 lb test it's good for snaring fishing and cutting thru plastic. Can be wrapped on a flat bobbin and sewn into hats, or clothing n such for emergencies

It's tiny!
I expected this to be small, but it really is small, about the size of a loonie. I bought 2 and lost one on the first day, the second is now safety tucked in my wallet.
