Classic View-Master Metallic Viewfinder with 2 Reels - Retro STEM Learning Toy for Kids & Adults, Nature Education for Ages 3+

How fun to be able to look at the View Master films I got as souvenirs when I was a kid! (I’m 68). I found a bunch of them amongst my stuff when I moved and I didn’t have the actual View Master to look at them. It has been a little trip down memory lane. My grandkids like it too and it has given me a chance to share some childhood vacation stories with them. I recommend this product.

Great for small kids

I just had to pick this up when I saw it. Talk about blast from the past! I bought 2 of them for Christmas gifts and they are awesome! It is super cute, looks just like the ones from way back when I was little. The size of the view-master seems to be the same as I remembered it. The picture quality is awesome and I cant wait to give them away as gifts this holiday season.

I bought this for the almost 4-year-old girl I babysit. She was very enthralled with the pictures. I wanted to buy a bunch more reels, but they are over $20 dollars, which is too expensive. However, this product is fine. It came with 2 reels. There is something magical about this item. I remember loving this when I was a kid (over 50 years ago), and this little girl I bought it for also feels the magic.

Lightweight. Fairly stable. Cute design although it seems less robust than the older version. There is no storage that came with it. Still fun for kids and adults. When looking thru it, there are black streak marks coming from the edge either from poor craftsmanship of the lens or the reels are not well made. Other than that it works as advertised. Sometimes the reels get stuck if not inserted properly.

Bought this for my grandchild - he loves it!

I am in the habit of buying the grandkids toys that I remember as a child. This viewfinder was definitely not metallic even though the description said so. But it was fun and intriguing for the children. My eye spread is bigger than a child's so it was easier for me just to look through one side to see the picture. The kids enjoyed it and were able to advance from one picture to the next quite easily. The pictures were great. This is not a toy that is getting everyday use so I hope it will last. Would like to know if there is anywhere that we can get more reels at a reasonable price.
