I found this all to work how it should, I imagine you will have to be careful how you store it as it is quite thin and so could easily break.Mine was all in perfect working order when it arrived and has worked perfectly when using it, it's really easy to just click the gas in, turn the gas nob on and click the button, mine easily set alight straight away with no problems. It's good value for money as it comes with four gas canisters.I must admit that it wasn't quite the results I was hoping for as I wanted a quick and easy way to get rid of weeds, I'm lazy and gardening is boring! I hate weeds and was hoping this would just burn them up quickly, but I did find that I still had to rip up a lot of the weed before and after, all this does is burn the roots to kill it off and stop it coming back, it doesn't actually burn up the whole weed. So I still have to put more effort in than I wanted to but hopefully by using this to kill the roots, once Iv done it I should be able to keep on top of any new weeds and the old ones should all be dead!

This is a good chemical-free solution to deal with patio weeds.

I love these weed burners no more bending down so easy to use but still need to keep on top of the weeds though they only thing wrong was that the ignition went and it wouldn't light with ignition

I like these better than the electric ones because the electric over heat and cut out a lot, the gas on these go a long way, I’ve burnt rubbish that has got into my small stones area of the garden including dead leaves and bits of twigs etc etc also I had an infestation of flys because of something in my garden they liked but the spray I kept buying wasn’t working and because I think of these flys I had to cut my cherry tree down this year I was devistater but these flys would swam to either my parasol or a tall wooden pole I tried many many bug repellents and last year spent over £180 just on repellant and a pump so I could get up high on shrubs and trees but yet again they came back literally swarms and all my plants kept getting attacked by them.The story was explained because I love all creatures but when one thing is killing many other living things they have to be eliminate and so I used this item and my flowers and shrubs and fruit trees and shrubs have flowered and look so much more healthier for them gone i mean Iv never seem so many flowers on one of my shrubs it’s beautiful and Iv missed out of many beautiful things through these flys so when they swarmed to the moon Posen post I have my birdhouse on I literally just got them all with a couple of sweepers without setting fire to the pole. Rubbish in garden in awkward places it’s good for lighting you garden fires.So many things than just a weed killer but be ver carefull where you point it when lighting it, if you want to keep your feet or yer kids and partners beautiful face because if your not concentrating you could do some damage so point down towards a concreted area and put on the lowest setting keeping your feet and ur animals out of the way and practice before you use on higher settings because on high it’s a real flame througher.I love mine helps me out a lot.Also make sure you check the connections before you buy this one is easy to buy the gas but some have other connections and the gas is hard to find and expensive to buy this one u can get gas from many places.Also another safety measure is to store the other gasses in a cool dry place and out of reach from children and animals 🫶

I bought this in October last year after battling garden weeds all Summer but only started to use it this year in Spring as the weeds returned. I have used it 6 or 7 times and it has already broken even though I take good care to use it as per the instructions and store it safely in the shed. After the first few uses the ignition button stopped working but I could still light it up with a match. I did this a few times and now even when it's turned on and it sounds like gas is moving through the system, it doesn't light up with a match. This is now completely useless. I didn't even get through one canister of gas - I did try all of them on the wand in case it was an issue with the canister but none of them work on it. It's a shame I ordered it at the end of the weed season last year and didn't use it until now or I would have discovered earlier that this is rubbish. I would not recommend this item to anyone. If you do buy it, please review it after you've used it more than 10 times. It should last longer than 7 uses.

I bought one of these weed burners as a means to keep the patio and front garden path weeds under control (having spent over an hour scrubbing with a wire brush..and having an aching back..there has got to be a better way!!!). I had previously bought an electric heater gun for this, but it was useless and melted so totally pointless!It arrived with 4 cannisters of butane and I set about running around on a low burner flame setting, crisping the patio weeds (dandelions etc) and seemed to work fine. I got the partner to then give the front path a go to get her used to seeing how easy it is and she went a bit mad and went outside the property as well frying weeds..so guessing she was embracing her inner pyro!Either way this is a good method of keeping them at a small stage (as they do invariably recover and grow back), so its one of those things you have to keep at to control them..but its a lot easier than scrubbing (and kinder on the back). Guessing it could have other uses too like lighting fires or BBQ's.
