What You Might Want to Know Before Purchasing t
I bought this item to replace the more expensive one, which has metal components. This was a mistake. Although this came with a new lock-on bottle - just like the other 3 new ones I have, it carbonated 4 bottles of water - and that was it! It was impossible to get any of the bottles to lock onto this model. It's apiece of plastic Chinese junk. Spend the few extra dollars and get the one with the metal parts: my previous carbonator lasted for 1-1/2 years in heavy use: 3 liters of water every other day. Ask Amazon to list where a product is made, and maybe shy away from the Chinese stuff. I have a Panasoninc item,still working fine, which was made in 1980's Japan.

Disappointing product
Item is very flimsy, had to return for a refund as the gas bottle thread was faulty and would not connect. Disappointing as Philips is normally a quality trusted brand.

Lasted only 6 months
Lasted 6 months only ! Product was nice until one day that the bottle wouldn’t screw in anymore . I dont understand how such a simple system failed but it did .
