Zinsser 2.5 Litre Bin Shellac Primer Sealer

I love this stuff, great for just about any priming job. The main weak point is the primer itself isn't durable. It's easy to accidentally scuff it before a more durable coat is put on top.That said some paints do have trouble adhering to it and require an extra coat so unless you're dealing with a specific problem like a difficult surface, stain or odour it might be better to save some money and use something else.

Used this product to cover varnished hardwood before painting. It is not easy to use as it is so thin it drips very easily Found it best to apply two coats before applying undercoat/primer then top coatBrushes can be cleaned with methylated spirit

I reinvented some old bedroom furniture and I changed the handles too , so for about £70 ish , I completed changed the look of my dated furniture .
