A bit daunting at first sight but give it a try and it soon starts to make sense, I have used another on line based data base (no names) but after a few problems with updates I gave it up and decided to try this , played about with the prog for awhile then I tried to enter some of my own data into the system and slowly built up a list of my own now I am onto my third album ang things are going well , I still have things to find out about the software and that will come with timeOnly one thing I did have trouble with was uploading images , first I tried to scan them in and from there to the screen but for whatever reason I could not find the scanned image , so I photographed each item with my camera , downloaded the images to an external drive and from there to the images section on my database and hey presto it worked (nobody was more surprised than me that it worked ) I know it seems long winded but you would have to scan items anyway so I suppose taking pictures is just a form of scanningSo far it seems to be fine but I have a huge collection to deal with so we will see in a dozen or so albums how this performs I will update later on how it goes,UpdateBeen adding new items into this database for a while now and I am building up quite a list , there are a couple of annoying little things that crop up every now and then , firstly it seems to stop at random intervals and has to have a think about what it is doing on a couple of occasions it has crashed completely (luckily I back up often) , and I cannot say it enough back up often with this as I do and save it to an outside drive just in case , I would hate to lose all this work I've done so farUpdateI've done 20 albums now and seems to dealing well with the amount of data I have entered , only one problem I have now (nothing to do with the prog) is that my computer has packed up and I am waiting for a repair to be done , when I get it back I'll carry on but I'm just glad that I backed up often to both external drive and flash stick , (more to come)
