the product works great i used it for tacking rg6 sattelite cable i had bought 2 others but they were the wrong onesthe special staples make sure you do not crush the cable (brilliant product)

I needed a way to attach some decorative LED edison light strings to ceiling joices. My first attempt, I used a traditional Arrow staple gun with all metal staples. This resulted in several instances of me peircing the cable with misfired staples. I decided that traditional metal staples were not the ideal solution, and then I stumbled upon this staple gun. I painstakingly removed and replaced all the metal staples with these staples and I was quite happy I did. The gun was easy to use, didn't jam once, and I wasted exactly 1 staple through the whole ordeal. My only gripe is that, even the smallest size staples were still far too large for the small diameter cable for something like string lights or christmas lights. This means that you need to pull the string of lights tight because the actual staple is not going to hold the string firm like a traditional staple would. This stapler and the staples that fit appear to be better designed for rounded cables and NOT for flat cables. That doesn't mean it won't work, it just means there will be some play in the cable. I'm not sure how I've gone so long without owning one of these. It's worth the investment, even for the average homeowner who occasionally has to run a cable, temporary or permanent.

Used it to run over 100ft of data cable outside a home. Functioned perfectly. Jammed occasionally, but I blame the staples. Get yours!
