RubisSwiss Tweeze Tweezers

These are fabulous facial tweezers. you can do individual hair or all over quicky type tweezing. I bought these in 2014 and am just replacing them now. I did nothing special with them in terms of maintenance other than wipe tips with alcohol. I did NOT let anyone use them for things people will sometimes use them for such as fixing jewelry etc. I was very possessive with these and for almost 7 yrs of use they were worth every dollar. recently they seem a little dull...maybe just wear and tear or maybe someone snuck them out for a non-permitted use LOL but its been 7 YEARS so getting a new pair.

I had always had the scissor-type tweezers that were angled and loved them. However, they were no longer working well and I searched for ages for a replacement pair. Now that my favorites are "Made in China," as I discovered when I bought a new pair, and are clearly not made well, I decided to do some research for a different kind of tweezers. I read the reviews on the Rubis tweezers and decided to give them a shot. I'm happy with them, but I wouldn't say they are foolproof. I still have a hard time tweezing certain hairs and often need several tries to succeed. I have never dropped them and am always careful to replace the plastic top when I am finished using them (based on reviews I read). I hope they last a long time and continue to be "sharp."

I originally bought these for about $50 in a beauty supply shop after using Tweezerman - and getting them resharpened (which really wasn't worth it). They lasted a long time. But eventually they dulled and unlike Tweezerman there is no sharpening service. I bought a second, and third, pair from Amazon and saved money. They are still my recommended tweezer, but they don't seem to hold that ultra sharp edge allowing you to get at new or tiny hairs as well as they used to when new. And yes, absolutely don't drop them because they are alinged so precisely it is easy to knock them out of alignment if dropped on the tip. I use towels around me. Just in case.

My drugstore tweezers are just as good. Wouldn’t buy them again.

Best Tweezers I have ever owned. This is my 2nd one, my 1st one I bought over 10 yrs ago and only reason I had to replace it is because I accidentally dropped something really heavy on it.

Not too often that you find a product that is head and shoulders better than everything else you have tried. I have wasted lots of money on less expensive pairs that perform poorly. These work great and have a lifetime warrantee.As proof to how well they work, they will suddenly stop working well after some use and even though you may not be able to see it this is because tiny flecks of sloughed skin get on the tweezing surface causing thin hairs to slip. Just wipe the faces of the tweezers with a cloth and they are back to working on even the finest hairs. Imagine, something so small that you cannot even see it wedges the blades apart!

These are my favorite all-time tweezers. They have a very sharp tip, and are excellent for digging out ingrown hairs, and for very fine hairs. They are so sharp, that if you scrape them across your skin, you might damage the skin. The tweezers come with a silicone cap to protect the tip. I've ruined one pair by dropping them on hard tile surfaces, so it's best to retain and use the protective cover. Highly recommended!

Doesn’t work as well as my 10.00 tweezers

Bought these tweezers as a gift. I have had mine for many years and think they are the best. New owner agrees with me that they are accurate and easy to use.

Picture shows slanted tweezers but I received straight end ones. Didn't notice until I opened the box and tried to use them. Other than that they work but not very well for eyebrows, my old slanted Rubis ones were easier to use.

Cheap version of Original Rubis Tweezer! Not recommended to buy it from this seller! The metal is more lighter and looks cheap compare to original, have dents, perforations have sharp circles, The Printed Letters are more thinner. And finally Slanted Tip is smaller, then original.

Very precise and well made. You pay for what you are getting.
