PH Balancing Skin Wash

This body wash is so incredible I cannot actually use another brand and attempt to even convince myself that I’m as clean. I use this on my face, under arms and chest. I also love this product to scrub my back. My skin has never been more flawless and in conjunction with the Surface Deep anti odorant spray, I live smell free during even the hottest of seasons here in Florida! 12/10 recommend!

Nice glycolic acid skin wash that is aimed at balancing the ph of the skin. I like that it is unscented. It cleaned my face and left it smooth without being too dry. A good if slightly pricey skin cleanser.

Clean, gentle and effective body wash. Love the whole line from deodorant to travel/on the go wipes to the wash. Can’t detect a fragrance which is a great thing! Skin feels exfoliated and clean.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have been using this surface deep product for only a week and I can feel the difference in my skin, how soft it feels. I feel fresh and clean

My initial interest in the Surface Deep Skin Wash was primarily due to its all-natural ingredients and lack of harmful chemicals, specifically as an exfoliant. It wasn’t until I used it in the shower that I noticed the potential odor-control benefits, which wasn’t a priority for me but definitely a nice bonus. The product doesn’t foam much and felt a bit difficult to rinse off, likely due to the coconut oil. Any exfoliation it offers seems very gentle, I did appreciate how soft and refreshed my skin felt afterward. As for odor control, I did a quick sniff test of my armpits and wasn’t overly impressed. To be fair, I don’t usually do this after showering, so I repeated the test the next day with my regular body wash for comparison. Unfortunately, this product didn’t perform as well for me. That said, since odor prevention wasn’t my main focus I’m still giving it four stars.

I gave this to my husband since he has a strong preference for unscented products and he could use a little help in the odor control department. He had mixed feelings on it. He liked that it is actually unscented. The only scent detectable is a very light clean soap smell. He didn't like that it doesn't lather up very much and he felt that it didn't rinse off very easily. He said that he felt like there was a slight oily residue on his skin after use. After looking at the ingredients we discovered that it is coconut oil based which may be the culprit. He was not impressed with the purported odor control properties as he said that even after several uses he was not noticing any improvement in that department. He rated it as a decent body wash but says he probably would not get it again.
