If Your For IWB, Buy It!
When I saw this holster the first thing that came to my mind was the Don Hume H715 and, rightfully so. After doing a little homework, I found that a former employee of Don Hume now works for G&G. Call Don Hume and they will verify. This is indeed a nice holster with the proper break in it will do you just fine.I would advise you to take the low star reviews of this holster with a grain of salt. For instance:"The full muzzle cover is too long." Remedy for this is to take the holster to a full service shoe repair shop and have them nip the end to your specs and put in a retaining stitch at $5 - $15."It leaves a significant print." Learn to dress around your concealed pistol, not conceal the pistol according to the way you dress. You may need a smaller frame firearm. I have a compact Taurus .45 in the same exact type holster that I wear with t-shirts and no one notices."Leaves too much of the trigger guard out on generation 3 Glock." I bought this for a gen. 3 Glock 23. Two thirds on the trigger guard are in the holster without the safe-action trigger being exposed and that's good enough for me. I don't want to bury the gun."Actually it fit too well . . . darned thing didn't want to it it go . . ."Here's the deal folks. A holster made of leather is a breathing thing, after all it came from a living, breathing thing. You have to condition the holster to your lifestyle. You have to wear it, let it curve with your body and absorb your body heat and moisture. This holster like any other leather (think shoes) was a little stiff at the onset when i bought it in January but after wearing it daily it's rather comfortable without any modifications.I own 3 DH holsters, Two of them are IWB. The one that I've worn daily for 3 years draws and re-holsters ridiculously smooth. You can't even hear it. I bought a DH recently to fit a .38 for the small of my back and I'll be wearing it during the summer months. The third is for my "sleeper." I have a S&W 5906 (which you can get a great prices, round or square trigger guards) and is one of the safest DA pistols you can own and that's why I put it right in the bed with me. However, I holster it to keep out excess lint.No two leather holsters are alike so for you tin horns and tenderfoots out there, here's what you do:When you get this holster, UNLOAD your pistol and wrap it tightly in two - three sheets of waxed paper, and place it in the holster. Shove it in to the max. Check it after 24 hours and if it is not loose enough for you, leave it longer. If need be, add another piece of waxed paper.I highly recommend this holster and can't wait to feel it's performance after a year or so.If you are a legal concealed carrier you want this and the price is right.

Almost 10 Years, still use it
I don't leave reviews much, but this one is worth it so I wanted to take the time to comeback and review it. I purchased this for my Glock 19 Gen 4 almost 10 years ago and I still use it. Where my CCW permit(s) allowed/allows or where I can legal carry, I almost always do. This holster has seen a lot of use and it's still in good shape.

Great Holster
Everything was exactly as I expected. Leather is nice and soft clip is surdy and great retention. Some of the other reviews kind of upset me a bit so I'm gonna go ahead and explain those not so great reviews so your not turned off to buying this holster. One guy said he didn't like the single clip because it moved around to much at 3 to 6 oclock. Single clip holsters are meant to be carried in the appendix or in the small of the back if you plan on carrying "3 to 6 o'clock" get a holster with 2 clips that is meant to conform to the side of your body.Another guy said it's uncomfortable... To me this is idea that carrying a gun is supposed to be comfortable is absurd. Its like wearing seatbelt it's not meant to be comfortable it's meant to save your life, it's not supposed to be comfortable it's meant to be comforting. The bad review That I saw the most and That really grind my gears is that the holster is to tight of a fit to pull the gun out. When they day comes and some thug decides to hold you at knife point or you become a victim of this stupid" knock out game" and you're rolling around on the ground fighting one of these losers the very last thing you want is going to be YOUR gun coming out of the holster and falling in to the wrong the hands. So.. Nuff said bout thatOh yeah another guy said the trigger guard is a little exposed and he doesn't feel safe carrying it with this holster. When my glock is cocked the trigger goes forward and you can't see the trigger in this .5in gap because it's covered by the holster. So no problem there for me. If you read this far I'm surprised and I hope this helps

almost perfect
FITTING: I am 5'9" and have a 44" chest and 36" waist. This holster fits comfortably and conceals easily in appendix carry under an un-tucked shirt. This holster rides a little bit higher on the belt than other brands. So the bottom tip does not dig into anything when I sit down**.CONSTRUCTION: Stitching is flawless. Leather is full thickness, very stiff, and held my Glock 23 too tightly upon delivery. This is the way all leather holsters should be before broken-in. Metal clip is super stiff spring steel. This holster has MUCH more clearance than other holsters where the grip meets the trigger guard. So no need to adjust grip before firing. Holster stays open for (mega-careful) re-holstering. Steel clip slides up/down by about 1/4 inch in the leather. But this does appear to affect function but I epoxied the clip in place anyway.**As delivered, my holster was 1/4 inch too long for a Glock 23. I trimmed the leather along the indentation and it is like in the picture. One star deduction for 10 minutes to trim it with a razor blade and sand it with 60 grit to get a smooth edge. They simply missed a step at the factory. But otherwise this holster construction is excellent.

Super
Great looks, construction, and fit...my Glock 19 gen 4 now fits as a glove, same as my Kimber Pro Carry 2, no finish marring or wear..."break in" is a must, did it with plastic zip bag...insert a hefty plastic bag, put your gun in, make sure is fully unloaded, check twice please, push gun, tap several times end of holster against some wood object or palm of hand and let it seat till next day...enjoy...they run a bit high...real handsome holster.
