I Like It
Looks much better in person than in photo, feels good on the wrist, too. I could probably regulate the movement a bit as it seems to gain a bit of time over a couple of days straight wear. Love the history of the aircraft too!

Terrible Lume and Runs Very Fast
An OK looking watch, but the lume is totally substandard for a watch in this price range. I have watches that are less expensive than this one with much, much better glow. Taking three stars off, as a modern aviation watch should have decent lume — this watch does not. If you are going to bother putting on lume, PUT IT ON. Also, the watch is running very fast, out of the box. No more AVI-8 for me. PS — I did return this watch. The Miyota movement was gaining a minute every twenty minutes, which is unacceptable. I think this watchmaker spends too much time and money selling the sizzle, not the steak. If you are putting a late fighter ace’s name on a watch, make it worthy of him.
