False advertising in the pictures
Update 4/28/25: the seller reached out to me on their own and fixed most of the problems in my original review. They updated the pictures within 48 hours of this review, which is really impressive. I’ve updated this review to 4 stars. The tent is okay at this price point. The packaging was terrible. As in, it was all torn apart upon delivery and even the Amazon delivery picture shows the box torn apart. The ABS cover was scratched up on arrival because the box was in such bad shape. Just moving it 50 yards with a dolly had the rest of the box fall apart.Got it mounted, which took my wife and I about 3 hours. We have a lifted vehicle but getting it on the rack was the easy part. The tent sits extremely low on the crossbars so all the other things had to come off and you will not be able to mount an awning (or anything else) under the tent. It’s too low. Getting the brackets lined up and tightened was extremely difficult because there is such little space for hands to fit. We ended up having to install the front side through the open moon roof and even then my hands didn’t fit. My wife has much smaller hands and she was able to get it done. The fabric is okay but not lined like the item description says. Plenty of light comes through the walls. The mattress is really hard and not super comfortable. Some of the weather sealing is already coming undone on the inside and I’ve only slept one night in it. The awning doors on either side cannot really be closed. They can only be held in place by loops on the corners. This makes the tent really drafty and I have no idea how it would hold up against wind when you’re cold at night. Even though there is an opening for a heater or AC I imagine this tent to be extremely cold in winter because there is constant air movement since you can’t actually close the doors.I’m 6’1” and I fit inside okay. Any taller and you’ll have issues. You can store plenty of blankets and pillows inside. Speaking off, definitely store pillows inside. The ladder hooks tore the foam on the inside of the roof during transit. You’ll want to protect that.

Where’s the hardware?
The tent seems great but I don’t have the screws and bolts to attach to my vehicle.

Easy to set up, comfy and cozy pop up tent!
I recently had the chance to take the Sanhima Jervis Loft Rooftop Tent on an overlanding trip, and I couldn’t be more impressed. This tent truly redefines comfort and convenience for camping. The low-profile, hard shell design (only 11.4 inches high) reduces wind drag, which made towing on my SUV a breeze, even in strong winds. The sturdy ABS shell combined with 420D double ripstop Oxford fabric feels incredibly durable, and I had zero concerns about weathering some heavy rain—this tent held up beautifully, keeping everything dry inside.Setup is ridiculously easy. The four gas struts make opening the tent feel effortless, and the whole process took no more than a couple of minutes. Inside, the 2-inch cloud foam mattress was a total game changer—it’s thick, soft, and even with the tent’s small footprint, it offered more than enough space for two of us to sleep comfortably. The included anti-condensation mat ensured we stayed dry and cozy, despite any moisture building up overnight. The tent's design is thoughtful, with windows on all four sides, which provided great ventilation and amazing views. I loved the mosquito-proof mesh, especially during the evenings, and the canvas doors allowed me to adjust for all kinds of weather. A personal favorite feature is the silver lining inside the tent—it kept the tent cool and dark, so I could sleep in, even when the sun was already up.The addition of an AC duct hole is brilliant for anyone planning on camping in hotter climates or who simply loves to have a cooler space to sleep. I was able to hook up a portable AC unit, and it made the tent feel like a mobile, climate-controlled retreat. The built-in LED light was also a nice touch, perfect for reading or relaxing at night.User-friendly features like pockets for gear, loops for rolling up doors, and a ceiling net for extra storage made staying organized on the road much easier. The telescopic ladder fit neatly inside when not in use, saving valuable space, and overall, everything felt well-designed for comfort and practicality.I’m extremely happy with the Sanhima Jervis Loft Rooftop Tent and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and easy-to-use rooftop tent for camping trips, overlanding, or any adventure that takes you off the beaten path.

Best tent for Camping Comfort
I recently took my San Hima Jervis Rooftop Tentout on a camping trip with friends, and it exceeded all our expectations. The setup was a breeze, and the quality of the materials is impressive. The spacious interior and foam mattress made for a good night's sleep. It's not like sleeping at home but worked well. But what really impressed me was the ventilation system - with windows on all sides and a stargaze window made for good ventilation. We used a fan to circulate the air, and it really did help. We were able to stay cool and comfortable. The built-in AC duct hole was also a genius feature - we didn't end up using it, but it's nice to know it's there for future trips. The LED lighting was a nice touch, too, and made it easy to relax and read inside the tent.Overall, I'm so impressed with this tent and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient camping experience. It's definitely worth the investment - we've already planned our next camping trip!

Heavy duty & comfy
This tent is really solid & great quality. The mattress inside is so comfortable & it pops up quickly. The hardest part is getting it on top of the car. But once it’s up there, everything is a breeze. The ladder is very sturdy & folds down nice & compact. & Tent itself also collapses easily so it doesn’t take up as much room.
