It works! Transformer / Driver can take standard AC wall power down to supply a DC product.
I needed a transformer / driver to convert AC wall power supply to a DC output for a 12v LED COB strip. I combined this little transformer with a 6000K lightstrip which is designed to be cut (which I did to about 6.5ft or just over 2M length). I used the light strip shown here: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09Z2PDHRJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 I also needed to strip wires back on both products and also ensure that L/N and +/- connections were in the right order; safety first - don't forget to switch off the breaker before installing and use plastic end caps plus electrical tape to secure connections - but it worked and I'm happy with this. My project was to replaced the driver and the LED backlighting on a mirror, and this did the trick. My only regret is not having gotten the two pack; this little driver is handy and it took me so long to identify the compatible pieces, so I should have bought two.

Reliable small transformers
Bought for running some Tapo security cameras. These small transformers fit nicely in a waterproof junction box mounted to the wall. Simple wago connections can be used to connect the wires and they have worked faultlessly for over 6 months now.
