I was going to give it 1 star because the taste was so mellow. I did do more reading on polyphenols and found that the type of olives that Atlas uses contributes to different flavor and polyphenol content. The polyphenol found in the olive varieties of Atlas may be hydroxhydroxytyrosol, which is very beneficial and much more mello than oleocanthol. If your looking for that peppery kick, this might not be for you. However, hydroxytyrosol is considered the king of polyphenols, so I do feel better about my purchase.

This is the best olive oil I have ever used. I love the light, smooth and flavorful taste of it. It cooks without burning the meat or vegetables I am cooking. The large size lasts a long time.

One of the best with over 13 certifications for purity and being PURE EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, I honestly expected it to be on the bitter side. To my surprise, it wasn't bad at all. Not super mellow like the mixed oils, but then that is not what you are buying this one for. You want all the rich antioxidents this one provides. The 17 oz bottle is made of dark and heavy glass which preserves the quality of the oil. At $20 for 17oz it may be perhaps double what you normally pay for, but very reasoable and you want one of the best. Save one use for your teaspoon a day oil only for your health without spending a fortune, and use your regular one for cooking etc. It will last a long time this way !

this olive oil really taste authentic. I like that there’s a manufacturing did and expiration date. The size is good and the price is good and the ingredients are pure Moroccan olive oil. It smells and taste really good. I haven’t put it in a sprayer cause I just added it to my salad, my cooking and even take it whole in a tablespoon size at night before bed.
