Better that most
These basic wellington boots are durable and well finished. With a coarse tread pattern they don’t hold mud or soil easily and the rubber moulding of the boots is soft and pliable with a woven cotton lining. With grips on the sides of the boots to aid pulling on and a ridge on the heel to aid getting off they are a well thought out tried and tested design.Waterproof, last me at least three years of regular use before any sign of wear.Excellent value, recommended.

Fantastic welly boots!
Very, very pleased with these wellies. Excellent value for money and really well made and sturdy. My husband had a pair f these that lasted through 3 of my pairs of "highstreet" wellies, so I bought the same as him in the red. I've nit been disappointed! Really comfy, fit as expected, dry as a bone and comfy to walk in because of the thicker sole and slight heal. Importantly really nice, wide calves as I hate tight wellies!

Good Wellingtons, reasonable life (3 years)
I'm writing this review in May 2023. I bought these in August 2020, and I'm about to order a new pair as a split has developed in the upper left side (near big toe) of the right-hand boot, and this is now letting in water from dewy grass. I feel this is pretty good wear for the many miles of daily dog-walking I have done in just shy of 3 years. They've been comfortable and a little large for my size 10.5 feet but I need that to allow for an arch support plus a insole liner for warmth and support. As mentioned by one or two other reviews the large tread under the heel often traps mud/gravel/pebbles, but I guess you have to live with that. I'm happy enough to order the same boots as I think they've given good VFM.

Excellent Quality For The Farm Or Any Where Which Requires Good Wellington's.
This is an update about these wellington boots. I am over 66 years of age and am type 2 diabetic. I bought these wellington boots months back. Now my advice is to Diabetics who are Type 2. I wear ankle socks ( due to my blood pressure ). Then I pull on a pair of full length fishermans socks which I bought from Amazon months back. Then I pull on these boots. I cannot go out in the wet or when its pouring down as it upsets my Diabetes and makes me feel ill. These boots are of a very high quality. Very comfy and well worth the money. If I can wear these, you should be able to. I answered the question about size 41. Look up the Euro sizes and they will give you the equivalent in UK size. I did this and found that size 41 is about UK size 7 to 8. I wear size 7 shoes. So I am hoping I can help someone else with my advice. I am Peter Carruthers. PC. 14. 11. 2018.

Perfect fit
I like these because they are quite tall and not too wide around the calf, they are nice and snug. The half size is a bonus.

Not UK size
It’s a good made wellies, but the size not UK’s normal one. I order a size 6 for my son but it is a 6.5.We were try one in the shop( Go outdoors) so I know it’s bigger. Consider about it.

The best wellies
Comfortable to wear, perfect fit when wearing thicker socks, easy to walk in, and last a good long time, It's also a good deal for totally waterproof footwear. They don't "draw" my feet as people used to warn me about wearing wellies, and make them sweat too much. My feet are fine in them.No damage even though I often have to walk through brambles and a number of other spiky things in woodland. I hope Dunlop never changes these, or worse -goes out of business !

Success at last
Third time of trying to replace my wellies, which were Hunter and great, but now their fit has gone to potunless you have non muscley and very trim calves. I had to return the new pair. Tried another make and they sat on my calf, not for me so I returned them. So back to Dunlop, reviews looked good so I gave them a go. This particular wellie has a slightly higher leg than some. I'm 5'5 and take a 5, and they're only about an inch or two below my knee, so well above my calf. The fit is great. Generally I can be a 5.5 in a trainer, but plenty of room in the 5, and not too lose. The calf is perfect. I've tried them on with thicker leggings and they were spot on. I was so relieved I actually said Hallelujah.. not sure where that came from, but the post office must have thought I had some sort of wellie fetish. Happily though me and these Dunlops hope to have a long term relationship. Not tested in heavy rain yet but fingers crossed. Great price too, compared to many.
