Low Insertion Loss, Jacket seems rugged
When I tested this fiber it tested below the listed insertion loss (measured <0.09dB total loss for both ends combined), even though the ends were listed as IL1 0.20dB, IL2 0.08dB so much better than listed, I wonder if the IL1 listed was a bad measurement. Return loss was very high (>50dB, that's a good thing) Anyway, it worked better than expected. Tested at 1310nm and 1550nm with similar results. The jacket measured 2.90mm in diameter and seems like its reasonably tough. Despite being armored the cable is lightweight and flexible. I tested it down to a 20mm bend radius and it had no effect on cable performance. It appears that you might be able to kink the cable if you really tried but it would have to be intentional. I didn't do any destructive testing this time. The cable is single mode (SM), 9/125µm terminated LC UPC on both ends. This is 1SMF single fiber/simplex or use with BiDi transceivers. It's not listed but based this might be G.657.A1 fiber based on no loss while bent. A nice bonus was that they included a LC/LC coupler which made for very easy inline testing and is a nice freebee in case someone is extending another single SM fiber.

Forgiving bend radius, good light
Initial impressions are solid - no issue with fairly short span on 3km BiDi optics and CWDM gear, easy to handle, mostly good construction. The spec'd bend minimum bend radius is far tighter than I'd be inclined to even try, though the cable on its own will drape around 20D. This will see use for temporary outdoor runs, so time will tell on how effective the jacket and armor is in that environment. The one thing I'd like to see improved is a more robust connector, especially for something that may find use outside a wiring closet. There's not much support from the boot (bends easily), and the body of the LC connector appears to be snapped together from several pieces. This hasn't affected the initial performance at all, more a concern about long term resilience. For the price, it's a good value and passes multiple lambdas consistently. Will update with any issues with some time outdoors.

good solid connection, quality cable ends.
This works great for bidi connections between buildings, the armor offers some reassurances that it wont be damaged by pulling on it, or hanging it overhead and that rodents wont be able to chew through it when it is in wall, or buried. The cable ends are good quality, I'm currently using it for 1gb, but will shortly be using it for 10gb.

I returned this item because it was not what I needed
The cable seemed to be high quality and the seller was easy to work with. It is not being removed out of my list. For those reasons, I am rating this a 5.

Nice Slim and High Speed Data
Awesome fiber runs. I have this using BiDi 10Gbe run to my garage and it provides flawless high-speed data connection. Super slim profile makes it easy to run through small holes and overall a joy to work with. Very happy with this fiber and the armor makes it all the better for longevity when running in spaces that might be exposed to rodents and outdoors.
