I bought these because they "looked" like my old 2004 Mazda Tribute Key Fob Shell Case, At the cost, if it wasn't right -- no problem. But, I simply removed the inter-workings from my old ones and inserted (as best I could) into the new shell case. It turned out that I had two new keys fobs.

Easy to install

Bought these to replace my fobs for my Ford F350. Perfect fit and finish. Got my locks back working after I transferred the inside transmitters.

Worked out perfectly

After installing the battery and control board in to the new housing I went to test it. No matter which button I pressed to set off the panic alarm. I tried modifying the button insert but I still did not work. My advice is keep the buttons from your old remote if possible.

Works great on our Ford F-150

Purchased two of these to replace my original Key Fob cases for my 2009 Ford F-150. Was easy peazy! Just open the new and old cases, and insert the battery and electronics from the old Key Fob into this one. Took about a minute from start to finish. When you do it, remove the silicon sheath from the new Fob and insert the electronics into the silicon sheath before putting them into the new Fob--less stress on the circuit board and it's easier than trying to push the circuit board into the silicon sheath if it's already in the Fob. But both Fobs work fine. I will say that the "buttons" are different than the originals. They don't press/compress much. It's just a different feel. But the buttons all work just fine.
