This mat looks a thousand times better than a wet dish towel on the counter, but it is fragile. It stains very easily and I believe this fad will pass for that reason. It’s true that it dries almost instantly.

Love this and use multiple times each day for handwashing my dishes that I don’t run through the dishwasher. Only thing is it stains some but usually cleans up if I submerge in water with some bleach for a few minutes and then rinse and set to dry.

Was so impressed with the absorption but after awhile stains got on it and wouldn't wash off and also noticed mold growing. Not where you want to dry your clean dishes. You decide but only lasted me about 4 months.

I just got this about a week or so ago and have already worn out the sandpaper disk that is included. Everything that went on this was washed in soap and rinsed well. Where these marks keep coming from I have no idea. Nothing but clean, wet dishes go on it. Some of them came off with the sandpaper disk and others did not. Very disappointed. There only good thing is that, unlike with the cloth mat, my counters stay dry.

Looks cute for about 3 day. Stains really easily and the sand paper doesn’t really help get the stains out. The edges also start to curl up and it doesn’t lay flat after awhile.

I like this drying stone very much, and think it works well. It offers a nice change from the dish drying mats we've been using, as those get so wet and heavy. The stone did pick up some coffee stains, so we're more careful now with placing our coffee brewing items on it.
