I've been using this voice recorder to capture ideas while working. The sound quality is clear, and the noise reduction helps eliminate background distractions. The device is solidly built and has decent battery life. Navigating the menus is relatively straightforward once you get used to it. However, the interface could be more intuitive, and the buttons are a bit small for my liking. It's a reliable tool that serves its purpose well.

I’ll start unfortunately with the extreme negative of this product. We’re in 2024 now where even Apple has transitioned to using USB-C for charging and transfer. However this product still uses Micro USB as its connector. This connection is severely outdated and I don’t understand why it still uses it.Now I’ll get to the good bits. It’s fairly robust and has a good build quality to it. It also comes nicely packaged. The recording quality is generally quite crisp. The Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) function however doesn’t work that great and it’s better without it.

Which defeat the propose of having such a deviceThe price is cheap but a bit more and you’ll be able to pick up a tried and tested Olympus with better mics and better quality overallAnyone serious about such a device who doesn’t want to spend much is better off using their mobile phone.Anyone who wants such a device should spend a bit more and get a high quality better productSo do some research and look within budget and avoid this

It's a nice, fairly easy to use compact voice recorder.In it's favour:- it's quite strongly made- it is very small- it is fairly easy to use (after one has read the instructions :)What's not so good:- the charging port is a micro-USB connector, which is surprising given that the world has moved to USB-C over the last few years- the sound quality for anything other than voice is frankly abysmal, it's my guess that a low bit rate and high compression is used for the audio files- the typography: the logo font is like something from the 1990s :)One star deducted for sound quality, as the other negatives wouldn't really matter otherwise.
