NOMAD - Rugged Case - iPhone 16 Pro Max | Desert

As you would expect from NOMAD, this is a very high quality case and I have every confidence that my phone would survive a lot more than normal day to day drops. While being a tough case it really doesn't add anywhere near as much bulk as I would have expected. The design is fantastic and I love that the phone lays flat on a desk. The case is made of a hard material and as NOMAD haven't followed the crowd and indented the small bridge between camera control and screen it is not very flexible and feels reassuringly firm and protective. This might mean that the camera control is slightly less accessible than other cases, but is perfectly usable, but in my opinion is exactly as it should be for the 'Rugged' label. One noticeable thing is that the case seems to go right up to the usable area of the screen so the fit of my tempered glass screen protector almost seems to be part of the case as its that close to the lip but does not interfere with it at all. It's very satisfying how well the screen protector sits so perfectly in the space with no gap at all. The fact that the case overhangs this little bit extra makes for a more secure fit giving me a lot of confidence that the phone wouldn't pop out during a face drop. Due to the material and slight extra thickness there is very little flex around the screen. I would also like to compliment NOMAD on the buttons, they are very responsive and give a wonderful click. I have two minor gripes, but they are not substantial enough for me to knock off a star: 1) The material is not as grippy as I would have liked, but because of the groves down the side of the case you can easily get a easy grip that you will be confident with. I had a few close moments when I first got the case but within an hour got used to it. On the plus side this does make putting the phone in and out of your pocket a breeze. 2) The screen clearance is not quite as much as I would expect for a tough case. It is certainly there and leaves a little gap after my Tempered Glass screen protector when face down but anyone looking at this sort of case is mainly after protection and I wouldn't worry about the slight extra overall size if they added an extra millimetre to the front for a bit of extra screen clearance. OVERALL: I would give this phone a 4.8 out of 5 if a more precise rating system were available. It's hard to exactly describe why, but every time I pick up the case I am reminded just how good the quality and design is and get that warm fuzzy feeling that my expensive phone is well protected.

Honestly best case I’ve ever had for my phone, not too bulky, very protective and love the minimal look.

It’s a decent case certainly does this job and protects the phone pretty well it is quite bulky but all in all I’ve given it 8 out of 10

Glad to find another Nomad case for my new iPhone. I used one for the first time on my previous iPhone and it was by far the best case I had used to date. From laying down flat on the table to being dropped several times onto a hard surface - with no sign of damage to case or phone. Looks good and is a comfortable non slip thing to hold. Top Marks

NOMAD - Rugged Case for iPhone 16 Pro Max: Just OK+ This case keeps the phone stable when placed camera-side down, thanks to its raised edges that align perfectly with the camera protector. It fits the phone well and offers solid protection. However, the new camera button is harder to reach due to the case’s design, which might be frustrating for quick photography. If that’s not a concern for you, this remains a reliable choice for protection and stability.

Very high quality phone case, really well designed, clickable buttons, the sides of the case are concave to improve grip and the back of the case has raised sections on each corner so your phone lays flat.

Excellent product. This is the second case that I bought from Nomad. Makes the Iphone more discrete. No excessive branding.

I’ve tried many good brands and designer cases, but none of them fit well as this one.

A very tight fit around the phone which is nice. Tactile buttons that make a click sound is very good. The only downside is that it has sharp contours along the back which makes the phone uncomfortable to hold. Maybe a good thing if you want to spend less time on the phone.

At first I was very hesitant buying this case I thought my phone would be to bulky in my pockets but I was very wrong this case is very nice has an extremely nice feel to it has a very nice color which is the dessert titanium one. I absolutely love the color the case is overall very protective, feels and looks very protective as well and is easy to remove from your phone which is good because some phone cases are really hard to remove but this phone case has it all and is very slim too but really really protective should have bought this phone case a long time ago. Really recommend this case to anyone it really looks nice on my phone.

Excelente case, se adapta perfecto al tlf

I had been a fan of nomad case and this is the first time I try the rugged case for iPhone 16 Pro Max. Since they collaborated with Peak Design before, I did asked their customer service regarding the MagSafe compatibility with magnet wallets. Sadly, their magnet wasn’t strong and my Peak design stand wallet dropped and was lost with my driver license in it. Plus, the cut out for the camera button was very hard to use. I felt very disappointed that it hinders my usage of the capture button, making the whole experience lacking. Other than the two points I felt displeased with, Nomad case does felt great with its other buttons and also protect my phone well. The feel of hand seems to be acceptable and it can lay flat on the table. It felt very rugged and tough. The colour felt super premium
