My favorite thus far. Sized small so order 2 to 3 sizes larger than your size.
I love the vest. The inside lower hoodie material when zipped reaches just the top of the navel. However, the outside black vest reaches down to the proper area of the waist. I highly recommend a vest because the inside hoodie portion is just there for extra warmth and is not needed to be long. The fit is small so you must order up a few sizes. It’s Amazon so be gentle when you open it So you can return it if it’s the wrong size. Initially the gun pockets felt a bit small due to my large hands, but after further examination they appear to be just right for a small handgun. I plan to order another for my club patches.

Solid Vest
Vest is of good quality for the cost. Following the recommendations of others to order up in size x2 didn't apply to me as the end result is a very nice vest that my wife could fit into with me. I'll take it in the shorts on this one and order another!Rider: 5'10" 170lbs, 44"chest 32"waist, natural V tapper build.Ordered: 2X, way to big for this old dog.Charged 4.99 for shipping as a Prime Member, not sure who got me on that one! but still willing to try again.Peace!Update:The re order of this vest in XL showed up today and fits much better than the 2X. Not sure what the confusion is over sizing. I would conclude that these vests are true to size. I normally wear a large in vests that I use for daily tasking, say over a sweat shirt, t shirt or hoodie. As a result, I ended with 1 size up from normal to accommodate much thicker Riding Flannel. Combine the thickness of Flannel with the elevated position of my arms, 16" Apes, loaded pockets etc and the XL works out nicely.Shipping was as it should be. Free with Prime.

Definitely need to go bigger than normal
After reading several reviews posted previously I ordered two sizes larger than normal and it fits perfectly. It is really nice quality and the hoodie liner seems really warm. Used it today on a short ride and worked very well. My LCR 38 special revolver fits the gun pocket with practically no imprint showing. Highly recommend.

Runs Very Small, Zipper Defective, Otherwise Good Quality
I had some high hopes for this vest. I go to a lot of metal shows, in summer and winter, and I wanted to put together a battle vest I could use whether it was hot or cold. I read that it's important to get one that is at least two sizes larger. I normally wear XL. Since 3XL was unavailable, I went with 2XL. The vest fit fine, but it still felt smaller than I would have wanted.The fabric feels strong and the vest feels like it is good quality and has nice large pockets. With the hoodie on, it looks great. The problem for me was when I tried it without the hoodie, which is removable. The vest looked fine without the hoodie as well. However, when I tried to reattach the hoodie, the zipper was all messed up and after many failed attempts, I accepted that it was defective.So, with a defective zipper and a size smaller than I would have wanted, I had to ask for a refund. I would have taken a shot with a 3XL but that size just is not an available.Oh, well.

Nice vest. Well made and low profile.
Just received my vest. So far five stars. First look, very well made! Has a sharp low-profile appearance - no shiny hardware. On sizing...I am 6-3, 200 lbs. I normally take an XL, sometimes a large. In this case I ordered the 2XL and am glad I did! The fit is perfect with about an inch to spare in the front for wearing a sweatshirt or more underneath. Length of the outer vest is to my belt: the inner layer is shorter, but it’s supposed to be. More to follow on wear and tear.

Beware the Pockets
Everything about this was a good purchase, except the pockets. The pistol pockets are made of a breathable, perforated material. The sights on my 40 almost immediately snagged and tore them. Within a few months of regular wear, the end of my gun barrel is hanging out from under my coat. Fantastic item, very sturdy, pockets are trash though.

Good product but watch your sizing
Sizing is a bit crazy......im a big man so I ordered an 8x because im used to things being small. Got it and it was huge. Returned it and got a 6x still kinda big but an ok size to fit a thick sweatshirt underneath. Over all im happy with it. Decent quality and good price

Order two sizes up
Nice quality denim. Hoodie attachment is kind of weird but is fine. Make sure you really get the hoodie zipper on tight before actually zipping all the way or it'll come undone from the bottom up. Order a couple sizes over your usual size. I'm usually a 2xl in most shirts, and the 4xl fits perfectly.
