This gilet is well made and the M size fits my wife well. The padding is light so the garment fits under outer clothing easily.No battery/power bank is supplied so that cost should be factored into a purchase decision. I recommend one with 10,000 to 15,000 mAh capacity (5V 2A to 5V 3A output) so that it doesn't weigh too much in the pocket (make sure it's UKCA and/or CE marked for safety!).The battery goes into an inside pocket on the lower left side, which has a cable fitted with a USB-A plug sewn in. Heating wires are fitted inside the padding at each side of the chest; upper and lower mid-back; and collar, giving a good spread of heat. The gilet warms up quickly because the control electronics start with maximum heat for 5 minutes, then switches to medium heat automatically. The control button is sewn into the inside of the left chest and lights up when pressed, with three heat levels available by clicking through: red for high (60 C), blue for medium (50 C) and green for low (40 C).There are two zipped external hand pockets (which aren't warmed) and two low internal pockets (one is for the battery).My wife found the garment long enough to be comfortable around the waist and said the insulation worked well. The gilet is made from 100% polyester and is washable. The supplied User Manual has care instructions.With a price of £60 at the time of review and adding in a power-bank at around £15 to £25 this isn't a cheap product. But, in my opinion, the necessity for safety with such cordless, lithium-battery powered is very important and proper testing has to be paid for. (The packaging is marked with both UKCA and CE logos to show that testing has been certified by the manufacturer.) The price is rather high though.

I recently purchased this electric heated vest, and I'm extremely impressed! It provides excellent warmth on cold days.The battery life is great and battery connection with usb so it fits any power bank and battery is hidden in the pockets, lasting several hours on a full charge. It’s suitable for winter as well in spring and autumn because you can easily turn off the heated system when you want wear in spring and autumn.It's lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for outdoor activities or daily use. Overall, a game-changer for staying warm in chilly weather! Highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. Size being reviewed is large however it is a little snug and I would say an XL would be a better fit if you a large.The Gillet itself is not the best quality considering the price however I am guessing all the cost is in the heating elements inside.I used a 10000mah battery and heating starts immediately. Within a minute the gillet is hot.There are 3 settings high medium and low. The high setting can become a little uncomfortable. On medium my battery lasted appprox 90 minutes.Note that some of my other 10000mah batteries would not work with the product.Although the products does what it says I would struggle to recommend it. The combined price of the gillet and purchasing your own 3rd party battery raises the price considerably to a point it maybe more cost effective to purchase a high quality standard gillet.

Based on the sizing chart and primarily the shoulder and length measurement, I ordered a medium. This is a snug and comfortable fit over a base layer and jumper, but as my chest and waist measurements with clothing are under the sizes on the chart, I expected it to be looser than it is. The chest and waist sizes seem to be stated as 2 to 4 inches larger than they would really fit.The included user guide says to charge the battery fully before use, but as this does not come with a power pack, that information is redundant. It also does not describe where the switch and power lead are located on the garment. It's not hard to figure this out, but still poor that it doesn't say. The switch is on the upper left inside, and the cable is in a lower inside pocket also on the left. It's USB A, and has a rubber cap that can protect it when not in use. I had a charged pack to hand so I used that.The garment starts to heat in a few seconds and works well. There are two outer pockets, with the left one being a little uncomfortable to use as you can feel the battery. I think had the battery been placed higher this might have been mitigated, though perhaps that would be too close to a heating zone to be safe. I also found I could feel the cable directly, and discovered that the lining inside had partially unpicked. As I moved my fingers and pulled the lining out to take the review photo of this, it came unpicked even more. So it had not been sewn well or correctly. It seems that anything falling through the hole would still be trapped inside the garment and not lost to the ground, but a nuisance.The collar is heated and a soft plush type material. Annoyingly, there is no loop at the back for hanging onto a coat hook.Fundamentally this is a useful and effective item, though sizing needs some review, and it's let down a little by subpar construction and some lack of thought in the design.

This is a premium quality gilet and as good as any other from a clothing brand with an added advantage of heating through usb battery. I often find myself using it without heating but I am sure I will make full use of heating once the weather gets colder.
