I ended up buying 3 of these and all of them had black lines.

In my opinion, it’s about a size 10 with a lot of stretch. My 11yr old and her 11yr old friend both bought them for Halloween last year and they fit great. The waist is elastic and the material itself is stretchy for both top and bottoms.

Q: What size should I buy for my Granddaughter who wears a 12 in regular clothes?

I sized up one size because I wanted to give my granddaughter growing room. It fit her fine.
