Economical for short hair as it comes in 4 sachets of powder, which you mix with a liquid solution. For short hair, you need only two sachets. It gives quite an intense colour, more purple than red. As someone pale, I found it a little too dark, as I wanted more of a red colour. I changed to Naturvital mahogany for this reason. However, I would recommend this if you do want a darker colour, as it did last a good three weeks before fading, and that was with leaving it on only 10-15 mins. If you dye your hair red, you are lucky to get 2 weeks of decent colour. I'd stay with the brand if they produced a red colour, as it is nice stuff which does not irritate.
