Fringe Deltas are an old favorite among seasoned kite flyers. They are very colorful and very easy to fly.

Flies with little wind, holds up well.
First off, I've only used these once. I boguht two, one for each kid, age 4 and 2. The 4 year old can run fast enough to get this flying up behind her for brief periods. It only goes about 10' or less as she does this. But she thinks it's the most awesome thing ever. The 2 year old cannot run fast enough to do that, so we had to wait for a breeze. The good news is that it doens't take a strong wind, just a good breeze, and it can soar up 15' or more really easily. For little kids, this is fine. I haven't had a chance to test it rally high in strong winds, but I assume it will take me and another adult to try it. We had plenty of failed attempts at getting them to fly though, so they were dragged around on the sidewalk quite a bit. They held up beautifully. I plan on buying more if these wear out over the summer, and I may even finds different patterns of the same design, because I'm very pleased with how well this design worked.Update: After using these 4 or 5 times, the tips of the nose finally wore out. I'm not surprised, the kids dragged them along the sidewalk trying to get them to fly. A dab of hot glue and they work fine again. Otherwise, there's no wear or tear on them and I'm impressed. We've gotten a few highly gusty days, and I've been able to get these things 30' or more into the air. Higher than my house. The string has held up well, the fringe is fun, they are colorful, have a nice pleasant rustling sound as the wind blows. We even got one stuck hard in a tree and had to yank it out, and the kite and string held up. I plan on buying a few more for myself and the neighbor kids.

Great flyer
Pros: Flies easily and perfectly in a 3 - 8 mpg light breeze, or even in no wind if you run fast with it. Easy set-up by a 6-year-old inserting one spreader stick. Well-constructed rip-stop nylon. Plastic packaging bag is pretty durable for storage. I'm pretty sure the sticks are fiberglass, not wood. Fair amount of string. Nice string handle with hooks to keep it from unwinding during use.Cons: Doesn't have a long tail, like other kites.Other comments: We haven't tried it in higher 8+ mph winds, but so far it's a great performer, staying aloft much longer than the two parafoil kites we have. Flies at a very high angle, and is very stable, even in turbulent wind. So says the kid: "It stays in the air really long."

Great buy.
Fantastic little kite for low wind conditions. Very stable. We had tried for several summers to find a kite that could deal with low winds at a resort that is down in a little valley. It came with 200 feet of line which got it above the hills, after that we got it up to 400 feet with no trouble.

Amazing... anyone can fly it!
This kite is so easy to fly that my 3-year-old daughter can fly it by herself. I just give her the end of the string and lay the kite on the ground. She runs and it lifts into air. It's not the most durable kite. The wooden cross-piece broke. But it can be easily replaced--just get an 1/8-inch dowel (cost: about 50 cents, at a home improvement store or a craft store) and cut it to length with a pair of scissors.Even with the lack of durability, I still highly recommend this kite. I've never seen one that's so easy to fly. And it's so inexpensive. I'll probably by another one in another color.

Enjoyable
My wife and I got this to fly in the mountains. We wanted something quick and easy. This is it. Very easy to put together (you just add one strut), it flies right out of your hand. This would be great for small children and older adults. Anyone who just wants it to work. Highly recommended.

Junk
Just buy a better kite! These are exactly what I guess I paid for. They were cheap to buy and cheap to get. So cheap, I wouldn't spend the money to return them after just one day. They arrived, launched, and trashed in one day. Don't buy.

Kind of disappointing because it's so small. Must have missed the dimensions. Doesn't have quite the look as pictured. Much less color and the "tails" aren't very long.

Well it would be worth trying....if it had all the pieces!!
It took days and days to get this even after it was represented as Amazon Prime. After missing the trip to fly it I put it aside for another day. After opening it today it is a little guy and I want to try it but the brace piece that expands the thing is missing from the package. Money wasted.
