Echo Meter Touch 2 Bat Detector for ANDROID and iOS (USB C)

Love that I can now hear and identify the bat's flying round our house. Will be taking this on every holiday. I'm a complete novice and I'm sure I don't remotely use this to it's potential but it does what I'm after. Just 2 warnings. 1. If like me, your smart phone doesn't use a standard android connector you'll need an adapter, cheap and easy to pick up. 2. Dress sensibly. Where there is lots of bat activity... They'll be lots of flying invests. As I didn't want to move, I got bitten to shreds on my first experience!

Took me a while to figure out how the app worked with the echo meter touch 2 but it was able to identify at least 70% of the bats detected with some ultra sound being picked up caused by friction off my movement. Still not 100% sure on how best to use with the app but sure I will become better the more I use it.

This is a great little device. Liked the hospitality map feature. Picks up and identifies a lot of bats. Expect to be using over the summer. The app is fine and easy to use. I used the simple phone USB c connector recommended and had no problems.

Ich bin ziemlich begeistert von dem kleinen handlichen Detektor. Er funktioniert super am Handy und der Adapter fürs Smartphone (Android) lag auch dabei. Tolle Aufbewahrungshülle zum Schutz des Gerätes ist inklusive. Einzig die Einarbeitung mit dem Handbuch, das man sich runterladen konnte, fand ich etwas unpraktikabel erläutert. Welche Taste/Knopf muss bei was gedrückt werden. Am besten läßt es sich abends ausprobieren, wenn Fledermäuse fliegen, da kann man die Einstellungen am besten alle durchprobieren. Ohne Fledermausrufe ist das schwierig. Toll ist auch die Wegerfassung bei eingeschaltetem GPS!

Das Echometer funktioniert mit dem original USB -C /Micro USB von Samsung nicht. Mit dem Arktek-Adapter klappt es. Danke an den Service für den Tipp und die schnelle Antwort.

Ist ja nicht billig, dieses Mikro, kann aber was. Die Software (man kann sie ohne playstore bei apkpure auf den PC laden) ist in der Lage bei Aufnahmesequenzen ab 4-5 Sekunden Dauer die Fledermäuse gut zu identifizieren, zusätzlich findet eine akustische Übersetzung statt, die nach etwas Übung schon beim Hören die Flattertiere erkennen hilft. Diese Übersetzung ist weit besser als die bisher erhältlichen bat-detektoren geboten haben, bei denen nur verschiedene Knattergeräusche zu hören waren. Hier sind es echt modulierte Töne.

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht. Ja, das teil heißt „für Android“, in der Beschreibungsteht aber bereits unter dem ersten Punkt „machen Sie Ihr IPhone oder IPad einen ... Fledermausdetektor“ Jetzt hoffe ich, dass der Umtausch problemlos klappt. Es ist kein Retourschein beigefügt.
