In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ The mug features the album artwork from the 1973 Aladdin Sane album. It seems to be authentic and officially licenced.+ I didn't really have any problem with the socks. They are bright and comfortable.Things I didn't like:- The quality of the mug is just ok. Although the printing isn't terrible, it looks a little bit washed out slightly pixelated if I'm being perfectly honest.- Although the price of the set (£12.95) is probably what you would expect to pay for a combo like this, it doesn't really reflect the quality of the individual items which are fairly average.Do I recommend it?Yes, for a Bowie fan of this particular period. Although the quality isn't quite what you'd hope for in a £13 set, you're paying a bit of a premium for the licence. If you're happy to do so, then it would make a fun present for something like an office secret Santa.

Good quality socks and mug, both with a vivid and detailed print that looks great. It comes in a nice neat box which is easy to wrap, and no doubt will be a nice basic gift for any fan this Christmas.

This David Bowie gift set of a mug and socks comes in a handy gift box.Inside the box is the mug in white with a picture of David Bowie at the height of his career.Accompanied with the mug is a pair of white socks with the Bowie lightning symbol on and Bowie written om them. These socks are quite stretchable and should fit most foot sizes without issue.All the colours are well done on both items although on the mug I did find various holes in ceramic handle which didn't give me great confidence in its longevity as this is the part you will be holding all the time.Overall this is a good gift set for a Bowie fan and makes a good stocking filler.

Very nice gift set from Pyramid brand, this large white mug with David Bowie photo print and matching socks with red lightening design in an adult size comes in a presentation gift box, so ideal for gifting. As a David Bowie fan myself, I will be keeping this lovely set for me. Nice quality socks and a generous size mug I’m happy to recommend to any Bowie fans.

I'm perhaps not the best person to review this as I'm not really a Bowie fan - I liked a few of his tracks - that was it really.SO I had to look up why it said Aladdin Sane on the mug. Apparently this is the name of the 1973 studio album by Bowie and a pun on the phrase "A lad insane" a reference to Bowie's schizophrenic brother.The mug is adorned with an old image of Bowie and a lightning bolt. It doesn't really grab me tbh.The socks are UK size 7-11. Fairly basic quality with the lightning bolt again and BOWIE on the end.
