my boys love it

Ordered many many times and I have read some reviews about damp woodwool which I have experienced in the past.However I think they have resolved this now as the last 6 or more orders of this (5kg) have come in a more compact sturdy cardboard box which is much better.More compact to store so I can buy more at a time and I can make use of the strong box afterwards. I also hated buying an eco friendly packaging which came in a giant plastic bag so this is loads better and would highly recommend! 🥳

Love this stuff, and it has so many uses

We run a cheese and wine shop and at Christmas hampers are our main trade. Due to stock constraints with our usual supplier we needed hamper stuffing, and fast! Ordered from this seller on eBay first, and they “mistakenly” put our order on 48 hour service despite us selecting them on the basis of their 24 hour delivery service. Contacted them and they were very unhelpful, telling us it’d arrive soon. I took to Amazon Prime to see what my next day options were and this seller came up again. I put my annoyance to one side and bought another 5kg bag this time from their Amazon store, which was delivered the next day. When we started making hampers up with it I noticed it was really wet. Not simply damp, but water was beading from it. We did our best to squeeze out what we could, using clean towels and pressure, and we had no choice but to use it. It soaked through our cheese wax paper, it soaked wine labels off bottles, it was an absolute mess. The second delivery (eBay one) arrived and again was sopping wet. I got in touch with the seller. They said “we have been notified by our supplier that due to a rush getting the product out, a small batch might be damp, but should dry once aired out for a few days”. I spent almost £80 on this wood wool and I had to use it, but it really did “put a dampener” on my Christmas trade. And the customer service on both platforms was shockingly poor.

5kg is a lot of hamper stuffing! I big box arrived packed full of compressed wood wool. Thus will last me a few years! Excellent value for money!!

Considering the negative reviews. I still went ahead and ordered to judge for myself. So glad I did. Well packaged, clean, dry and value for money. Will definitely buy again.

I bought this to use as a soft void fill for posting fragile items. There is a lot of dust in this bag and I have had to wear a mask while using it and hoover regularly. This would not be suitable at all as pet bedding or for those with asthma.I will be seeking a dust free product in future.Apart from the dust this did exactly what I wanted it to and secured my fragile items in parcels with good cushioning and insulation.
