These IEMs are a must buy. It’s been about 2 months of non stop use and I have to say I am extremely impressed. The sound is so nice, clear and neutral with a slight bass boost that will make any genre of music sound so crisp. I love the design and they are so so comfortable for hours on end. I had two other sets before getting the AFUL Performer 5+2 and I gotta say I don’t use my other sets anymore and already sold one pair…. that’s how good these are. If your looking for neutral rich with slight bass boost tonality your in for a good time. Also love using these for competitive and casual gaming.

Exceptional all-rounder. Excellent clarity, note weight, technicality and tonality. It punches far and above its class, right into the kilo-buck tier. I'll recommend these on that alone. Comfortable fit, beautiful design (imo) and light weight. The nozzles aren't chunky and are a good length. I use Spinfit W1's ear-tips. Excellent sound coupling with those. Gives a tight seal and are comfortable for hours. I fall asleep with these on quite often. Really wish I'd gotten an extra pair on Prime Day. SMH. Highly recommend! Note: One of my two-pin cable connections, was absurdly hard to insert at first. Could've been my set, but be mindful anyways, just in case there's a slight alignment issue with the connections and IEMS.

I bought these to compare to the AFUL P5, which are my favorite IEM under $500. When I heard the P5+2 were out, I needed to try them. The short of it is that the P5+2 offers a minor increase in soundstage depth, better bass response, and slightly more treble extension. I feel that it also offers more resolution/clarity. I find the sound to be lightly v-shaped, with natural timbre, and a neutral midrange that does well with male and female vocals. It's a slightly more energetic form of a neutral sound, lightly and tastefully colored. I've tried many IEMs under $500, and my favorites were the Crinacle DUSK, and the AFUL P5. I found them both to have a lot of similarities, but the DUSK won out on technicalities overall. The P5+2 covers that gap and to me it makes the P5+2 my current favorite under $500. Just to touch on the accessories and build briefly. I prefer the look of the P5 more, but both have excellent fit, the tips give me a great fit, and the IEMs come with a very nice feeling cable. The entire package is filled with good quality items. If I were buying a single IEM and had a budget of $500 or less, the P5+2 would be my current choice. They do so much right, offering an energetic sound that keeps true to the music.

IEMs themselves sound great and are very comfortable. However I bought from Amazon resale, in condition was "Used - Mint". Once I got the IEMs the actual AFUL packaging was wrapped all the way around with packing tape so I doubt anyone checking returns at amazon checked inside. The IEMs themselves are fine and function perfectly well but the right side of the cable was broken out of the connector. Not an issue for me since I have several compatible cables but would be a large issue for someone newer to the hobby.
