Street fighter.Unless you are into this,it won't excite you.BUT,if you are then wooo hoo! First, the art work.If it doesn't work, nor does the book.I think that this rocks !The cover art by Arnold Tsang really appeals to me and I can't get enough of it.I've scanned loads of pages. It's just too good not to have as computer backgrounds.Anyway, back to the book. The story starts off in an ordinary enough way with Ryu,one of our main characters training in the woods.Art work, colours, yeah, yeah, not bad. Some guy shows up and they fight.Turns out ,it's a dream.Phooey !Turn the page and....POW !Double page spread of one of the main reasons for the story. This is only page 8 by the way. Then some other guy shows up and taps Ryu on the shoulder and starts to fight.Where's this going...hang on,it's just a friendly challenge and we get introduced to some more characters. Not much to get the blood rushing, still, early days. The location changes to Chinatown,San Francisco and a pub brawl involving what seems to be a minor character,Guile,an American soldier and the 'bad guy' runs out into a back alley, and page 27 is where the story gets good for me,KRACK!A silhouette of him taking it on the chin from CHUN LI,our agent from Hong Kong, full page.Awesome! That's enough reason for me to buy the book.Read on to page 30 where they join forces and the second main reason for the story emerges,Shadaloo.Did I mention that Chun Li has a great opening one liner,oh man...!OK,so I'm a fan,Just go and buy the book,'kay.Oh,do you know about Sakura? No?Well, she's a school kid who wants to become a street fighter too.'mad',you say.Nah,great,go for it.She's here too with some very good comments and there is a great sense of humour throughout the book, and the series. But enough about her, let's get back to Chun Li....sigh.This book is filled with energy and the characters all display heaps of enthusiasm and dedication, even the army of highly trained Babes, the main one being Cammy...or is she...?They work for Bison, the evil Overlord who kidnaps and brainwashes 'poor fools' to expand his puppet empire, oooh, sinister, with a little help from Vega,a bladed fist wielding martial artist, who is extremely well drawn,in character and art. Some great domestic and social scenes break up the fights and then we meet C-Charlie,Charlie Nash???Who the heck is he?Well,he's a bad guy,but he isn't really.Well,he is when we first meet him but he's actually one of Bison's puppet army.Anyway, who cares cos' it leads to a fight between him and Chun Li OVER 8,yes,8 PAGES!Oh,did I mention that I like Chun Li?And,we are only half way into the book.Next comes Killer Bee,another member of Bison's,or is that Shadaloo's highly trained Babes. The story just keeps on going and just doesn't ease off, brilliant.Sakura shows up again, she usually does, anyway, she wants Ryu to be her teacher so she seeks him out but at a bad time cos' he's in the middle of a fight, right, but to show her determination, she steps into the fight.Ok,she's inexperienced and untrained and yes, gets clobbered. She falls against a tree and sustains a forehead cut.Ryu takes time out from HIS fight to rip off a strip from his karate shirt to bandage Sakura's wound which she just happens to wear for the rest of the series;while Ryu returns to the fight;which he loses,by the way,but only cos' he's a nice guy, right? There's also a nice hint at another intriguing female character who seems to have links with Cammy towards the end of the book along with more brilliant cover art from Arnold Tsang,Long Vo and SAKA and Jo Chen.

Gran historia y dibujos sublimes.

Horrible edition
The printing quality is super poor + the encuadernation, is super bad, the quality of the glue used is super bad, you cant open the tpb fully.
