Sprouting Jar Kit - 2 Wide-Mouth Mason Jars with Stand and Sprout Lids

J'aime beaucoup faire mes germination. Le kit est beau et les graines se rince très bien. Par contre, j'ai acheté les plateaux et je préfère ça car, il n y a pas de graines à enlever lorsque les pousses sont prêtes. On a qu'à couper au ciseaux.

very simple system and easy to use. everything is dishwasher safe, which I appreciate - super easy to sanitize the system after each use. so far tried broccoli sprouts which worked beautifully. In the photo you can see the sprouting state of 2 (measuring) tbsp of broccoli seeds on day 5 - and it's basically ready to harvest already! these 2 tbsp of seeds will generate about 5-6 of (what I would call) servings of sprouts - basically 5-6 fist-size bunches of sprouts, like you would typically put in your salad or on top of an avocado toast. The process is simple and not time consuming at all - soak seeds overnight, then rinse and drain well twice a day until sprouts are ready for consumption. highly recommended!

I have recently been noticed that rust is forming on the corners of the stainless stand that the jars rest on. Hence I feel that the quality of the steel for the stands should be of a higher grade or made with another material that does not rust.

I love this kit because it’s incredibly convenient. Yes, you can sprout without this kit but this is quicker and easier. The lids fit securely and the mesh strainer is sturdy and high quality making it simple to drain the water. The stand is so convenient and much easier than propping a jar in a bowl. The sleeves are easy to clean and provide pure darkness so the seeds sprout quickly. I was a bit concerned about the stand rusting from the water drips but apparently it is stainless steel so that shouldn’t be an issue. I’ve owned this for over a month and have been using it almost daily. It’s so much easier than what I was doing before with a jar, fabric mesh and hoping it would stay propped up in a bowl. Oh - and the green onion growing device is great! I’ve had green onions on tap for a month now because of it. So glad I bought this!
