Worked like a charm on the Chipmunks attracted to the AW's Birdseed...
Gather around and listen to a sordid tale of bird feeders, bird seed, and the chipmunks that love both. The AW (Awesome Woman) loves the bird feeder mounted right outside her kitchen window. She was even excited when the first chipmunks moved in, right under the butterfly bush pot, also, right outside her window. As the small family grew, from 2, to 8, she was amused by the antics of the cute little critters. UNTIL, we looked up chipmunk breeding habits and discovered rabbits have nothing on these little guys. In a few short months, their population would explode. Since the dane thinks cats are chew toys, and I can't bear to resort to homicide over birdseed, we went looking for a humane alternative. One good dose of this, all around the area, and the chippies headed out for Florida (or wherever chipmunks go to get away from it all). Haven't been back since. We did cease to feed the birds for a time to ensure the Chippies didn't have incentive to stick around, but we are now back to feeding the birds with no stripped rodent interference. You would think that they would at least send a postcard. The ingrates.

Small quantity
I think this product makes skunks mad and they start to spray. I bought this for raccoons. It works but it stinks. After i used this product i started smelling skunks as if they were passing by and spraying because of the product but im not too sure other than that this works well to keep raccoons away.

WASTE OF MONEY!
THIS STUFF DOES NOT WORK!!!!!! I was interested in keeping a squirrel out of just one tree - not a whole garden or other large size area - just one tree! Now bear in mind it's supposed to last up to 30 days ---- well i used an entire container of the granular stuff around the base of that tree every other day for a week - used it all up. No affect on squirrel he walked right thru it!!! So i figured maybe the spray stuff will work better. So i wasted more money and ordered some of that stuff and sprayed all around the trunk of the tree from the ground up to a height of 5 ft - also sprayed the ground around the trunk, i did this every other day. Same result, they walked right thru it!! SAVE YOUR MONEY FOLKS - NEITHER PRODUCT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cridder ridder Granular
Not nearly as good as the liquid in a dry climate (Aizona). I suspect the oils in the composition evaporate nearly as fast as water here, enen in the cooler winter months. I was using it to keep pack-rats from munching on my car wires (newer cars are using soy based insulation to be green but rodents are certain it is food). It worked for about a week and then more rodent damage and a $200+ car repair for the same. It is supposed to last 30 days. I found moth balls, lights, and ultrasonic repellers have been a lot mote effective. The liquid Critter Ridder was sprayed on the wires and the granular product was used as a perimeter. It didn't deter pack-rats but it does keep rabbits away (they seem to like the shade under my cars and they keep away so I don't have to shoo them away or worry about crushing them when I drive off if they still think they are hiding, they aren't too bright you know).

Really Truly Works. Too Expensive.
Expensive, but really works. I did an unintentional experiment. I have two identical beds in front of my porch that get all kinds of dug up by squirrels and such. I put Critter Ridder around the border of one of the two beds and ran out. So the identical bed on the other side didn't have Critter Ridder on it. Squirrels and all the other a-holes that are destroying my yard have been digging in the bed without Critter Ridder. The bed with Critter Ridder? Pristine. Now if I could only afford to buy the quantity I need for all my beds and yard spots. I really think it would cost me a couple hundred dollars.

I wish I could say it worked
I gave this a 2 rating because it was easy to pour. But the neighborhood dogs still treat my front yard like a dog park.
