A wonderful thought, but , perhaps , in the over developed pictures, Finding the Cat is nigh unto impossible due to dark ,grainy pictures. I actually took a magnifying glass and it is no better...dark, muddy colors hide the cat, rather than the surroundings. I purchased this as a gift and I will give it ...and then we can be disappointed together.Even the solutions page in back of book is the same...you can barely discern the presence of a cat and need to proceed on faith , the cat is indeed in the murky coloring in the pictures.Oh...the quotes from well known people , about cats and their owners is the only saving grace of this book.It was/is a waste of money.

Ok, I thought that this was going to be a photograph book with actual cats. It is paintings. After searching forever for the cat, I turned to the cheaters pages in the back. I really don't know what shape they have circled? Maybe a kind of cat shape?

I am very disappointed in this book. Even wth the solutions, I cannot identify the cats. Very obscure. I had seen a similar book where the cats at least looked like felines once you found them, but this book is ridiculous. Nice photographs, but not a good find-the-cat book at all.

This book is fun and challenging. I do agree with some other reviewers that some of the cats are pretty much impossible to see, kind of a blur and I finally gave up and looked at the answer key. Even knowing the spot, it was hard to tell it was a cat. However, in the majority of the pictures, the cats are clearly pictured and I am happy with this purchase.

My extremely picky 10 year old Neice actually loved this book and was a first go to gift after opening a ton of presents this Christmas. The cats are hard to find which is the fun part! Very cool!

The photos are lovely. Very nice gift book for any cat lover. Enjoyable!

Great photographs from a wonderful variety of places/subject matter. It was kinda difficult to finally see the feline characters even with magnifying glass! Perfect for younger eye of examination, fantastic quality book!

I always like to look for hidden objects in a drawing or photo, but this book is the best yet! Thanks for a fun experience!
