Loved the look of the product and it's just as described. Product was easy to install except for the hard to reach screws because of the door handle on the inside. Once installed the handle felt very sturdy, feels wider than most handles which makes it easier to open door. Locking mechanism feels really good and definitely feels safer. I recommend you use longer screws than the ones that come with packaging to reinforce the frame of door. Overall it's a great product and love the rekeying feature that's available at any time if you want to rekey door handle.

The knob and deadbolt match perfectly and installed in a pre-bored door without a hitch. I was having difficulty finding a knob and deadbolt locally that were the finish I liked, especially a double-cylinder deadbolt -very poor selection of a double available at the big box stores. I really appreciate that they both featured the Smart-Key technology - what an improvement over trying to find someone at the store who could or had time to do the re-keying. It's not the most intuitive process, especially on the deadbolt - I would start with the entry lock first to become familiar. I was successful with the entry lock and the interior of the deadbolt, but I did something wrong with the exterior lock on the deadbolt and found myself with no working key. I called KwikSet and after trying several things, they offered to send out a new cylinder and key. I found a few tutorials on-line that walked through resetting a dead cylinder and after 2 tried, had it reset and the key I wanted to use working in it - not necessarily a process I would recommend but nonetheless a useful one if something goes wrong. I had KwikSet locks on all my other doors so this was a big plus in selecting KwikSet. Operational-wise, they are both very smooth.

Simple to install. Work and Look great. You don't actually need to take the bolts all the way out on the knob, as they'll slide/twist into place, then you just tighten down from there. I didn't have any issues tightening them down with a normal screwdriver, even if it was at a little bit of an angle. Actually managed to over-tighten one and it messed with the bolt for the knob popping back out on it's own. Loosened a half-turn and it was fine. Smart key is great. I was able to use my old keys without any issues. Re-keying a lock using SmartKey takes all of 10 seconds.

I purchased six of these door knobs for all of the exterior doors on my home and workshop. 3 of which, luckily, were keyed the same from the factory and that gave me six master keys - I've read the reviews that mention a downfall of the smart key is that "copies" and "copies of copies" of these keys can end up causing trouble for the locks, so having six factory keys is excellent. It is an Antique Home with a 1960's addition and the workshop was built in 1990. So I installed them on various doors from 150 years old up to about 20 years old. The build quality appears excellent, and I can report no trouble from any of the installations. In fact, I had anticipated some trouble with the various door spacing, door widths and door conditions, but this knob installed flawlessly on all six doors. One thing I noticed immediately was that the exterior knob seems to be wider in diameter than most exterior knobs - I actually prefer this to one that is smaller in diameter (more to grip). The only issue I see is that on doors that have the short spacing between the jam and thru hole, there is less space for your hand - If you have some type of a particularly tight Jam/ thru hole, the size of the knob may be cumbersome. My main entry door is fairly tight, but no issues with spacing for me, again I prefer the larger diameter. As for the "must be unlocked" to exit - I certainly prefer it to accidentally locking myself out - but I suppose it's a matter of opinion. I find the locks very easy to operate and can't recall ever being frustrated on my way out. I used two of them in conjunction with the Kwikset Z-Wave keypad deadbolt and I'm extremely satisfied with those as well. I highly recommend this entry knob, you won't be disappointed. Update 7/30/13 - Subtracting a star because the door knob that is used most often now has a glitch (As some other users have reported) and you have to rotate the knob twice after it catches about half-way through the turn. I'm just outside of my 30 day window with Amazon, so I'll probably just rotate this knob for one of the other ones in the house and hope that they don't all deteriorate like this one has in a very short amount of time.

Very strong, has high safety ratings, it's easy to install, and has a nice color that matches almost anything. The extra long, heavy duty screws it comes with provide extra support against break-ins. I bought 8 of these for our house! You can re-key them easily if necessary with the SmartKey mechanism (already included), which saves you time and money! I highly recommend these! :)

I replaced all the builder grade knobs with these antique bronze ones and love the look and quality. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Just what I was looking for with my other lock. It's sturdy and I like that I can match it to my other lock.

I needed to re-secure my house and opted for these doorknobs. The knobs were very easy to install...literally only took minutes per door and I am not typically very handy. The hardware is very solid and looks nice. Re-keying was also super easy and I like the SmartKey feature should I ever need to re-key again. I was intimidated by the thought of doing this project by myself, but I am glad I did. I saved myself the expense of a locksmith and I got some +exp in life skills.

The re-key is really useful. It is easy to install and re-key. I use the knob for my main entry door. I have another Weiser knob and deadbolt (with re-key) on my garage door. The keys are compatible after re-key. Now I can just bring one key for both entrance.

Well packet with all its accessories. Fitted with no need for any modification. Will buy this anyday again. Good quality product
