Monster power
This is a monster of a blaster. Having owned plenty of other vendors equivalents in our household, most others are limp and barely have the ability to get the foam dart out of the barrel. Many others have very little range, including popular branded versions. While my children are bored of those, I saw the advert for the insanity guns. Figuring that they may have a little more function and fun about them, I bought one. Oh my word. Another totally different level. These guns are indeed monstrous! Powerful shots that propel foam darts across the width or length of the house. The kids (plus older kids and adults) had an amazing time, but with just one of these monster blasters, it was not fun enough. We now own multiple of all the variants. Oh my, it’s turned my house into a shooting gallery. The whole family get involved and a fun shooting battle is frequently happening. Chairs tuned over for cover, blankets came out hang from doors for cover from above. Oh my, it is fun. What is the downside of these monster guns? Close range it can hurt a little. Because of the power of the guns, it can bruise you if fired too close. Face mask purchases are a no brainer for younger or more excitable people. If one of those darts hit you in the face or the eyes, you are going to really know about it. The other downside, you will be finding foam darts everywhere for days after the battle event happens. They ricochet everywhere, we find them behind sofas, sinks and even one wedged in the small door gap by the hinge. Also, they can fire very quickly, so I would recommend buying additional foam darts, keeping the fun going. The mini cannon version of this, fires extremely quickly and more time is spent collecting darts from the floor, than firing the thing. Therefore, having a few hundred extra foam darts spare, keeps the fun action going. Finally, I would not recommend these guns for small children, as they will definitely do something silly and get hurt, but when you have sensible people who don’t aim for faces etc, these are the best foam blasters guns you can get in my humble opinion.

Rapid fire
Quick fire. Takes 6xAA batteries. Pull the bottom trigger, and it shoots with another, but you can shoot as quickly as you pull it nothinv to pull back and load. Lots of bullets are needed (comes with). It was a 6-year-old's present, and he loved it.

Great fun for kids
Christmas present for one of my grandsons. He absolutely loves it. Requires 6 AA batteries. If it had been made with rechargeable batteries would have given it 5 stars.

Proper fun.
We are slowly collecting the full set of guns. It’s an all out war zone at times, fun for all the family.

One of the best models
We bought 2 of each insanity model. This one was the most reliable and fun of the group. The belt fed ones were finicky and hard to use for the younger kids. This one has a two step function. The first “trigger” of sorts is under the actually trigger and activates the motor. With that spun up, each pull of the actual trigger will shoot without any additional manipulation of the weapon. Once the little guy figured it out he had a blast.
