Comes packed in a relatively small box from which you have to assemble everything. It is not simple or easy and, parts of the assembly process are awkward. Perseverance is required to fully construct the lamp. Once completed, it is a decent product with a remote control for light settings. It looks quite good too. The assembly process takes the shine off a reasonable product.

This OUTON Tripod Floor Lamp exceeded my expectations in both style and quality. Despite arriving in a surprisingly compact box, the lamp is substantial once assembled, and it has a lovely mid-century modern look that complements a variety of décor styles. The natural wood, linen shade, and metal accents make it feel high-quality, and the lamp's design is simple yet elegant—truly an accent piece that can go anywhere in the house.Assembly was relatively easy, though I recommend reading the instructions fully before starting. I jumped ahead at times and had to backtrack a little, so reading everything first would have saved me some hassle. I also appreciated how the tripod legs fit together almost like a puzzle—just take your time to avoid any damage to the wood. One seam was slightly damaged, though I’m not sure if it came that way or if it was my own doing. It’s minor and doesn’t detract from the overall look.The included remote is a standout feature. It works perfectly and offers various dimming options, which is a wonderful touch for setting the mood in any room. I also love that the lamp remembers the last brightness setting—super convenient! A small shelf adds practicality, too, capable of holding up to 10 lbs, ideal for small décor items or a book.There’s also a foot switch, which is a unique addition, though I doubt I’ll use it much since the remote is so convenient. Finally, the included bulb means it’s ready to go right out of the box.All in all, I’m very impressed with this lamp. It’s a great mix of aesthetics and function and adds a cozy ambiance to my space.

It is a beast to put together. Almost no helpful directions. Still in the box.

The lamp is easy to assemble with two allen keys included in the box. The three wooden legs rely on bolts and the metal bulb holder at the top to stay together. Once the shelf is bolted in halfway down from the bulb, the tripod is very strong for its weight. The shelf is circular and can hold a potted plant, small knickknacks, or a few books leaned up on the lamp legs.The LED bulb is paired with the remote control at the factory. You can optionally pair them following instructions on the back of the remote. The remote works through walls and doors from at least 20 metres away so it must be sending radio signals.The bulb offers several color temperatures from warm to white to cool, and a few levels for dimming. Several buttons on the remote jump to predefined colors and brightness levels for tasks light reading, computer usage, baby feeding, and dim night light. A K (Kelvin) button cycles through all the color temperatures. The four-way pad can access all combinations so the extra buttons are a niceties if you want to use them.When the bulb is turned off by remote control, it can be turned on by remote with the same color and brightness. If you cut power using the foot switch on the cord or another external method, the bulb will later turn on in white at maximum brightness. I think that is a sensible default.The brightest bulb level is equivalent to a 60 W incandescent or perhaps a bit dimmer -- it softly illuminates a small room. Naturally, the bulb can be replaced by a brighter one fitting into the standard socket on the lamp. Alternatively, you could the use the bulb in another lamp.This is a good looking floor lamp with a handy remote control bulb.

I'm very pleased with this tripod light. Putting it together was easy enough, although I will say that the video just races through all the steps, and it was a bit frustrating to try and keep up. Lots of rewinding and no explanation. I would LSO note the instruction manual does not actually include the steps, you have to use a QR code to get to a YouTube video where your assembly instructions are found. The video is filmed so that it's really hard to see which screws to use, and those are also not described in your booklet.With that said, it's not too difficult to figure out what goes where, and the quality of this item is very nice. The overall finished product I think is lovely. The lampshade is very ingeniously packed, you put it together yourself. (And I will add that the snaps are a little hard to work but you quickly get the hang of it).I love that there's a remote, which includes a timer and settings for three different "temperatures" of white light. The remote does not come with batteries, but the kit does come with a light bulb.I think this is a lovely piece and I'm really happy with how it looks in my home. I can recommend it and think that the price is fair for the overall quality of the product you get.

Got this to replace an aging floor lamp that was starting to break down after years of usage. It's been a great replacement. It's nice looking, very stable and the middle tablet is actually very practical for various uses, but we decided to use inspiration from the pictures and now use it for a plant we had been wanting to keep away from our cats and it works surprisingly well for that as cat's can't get to it anymore. Love the various lighting options this offer with the various color warmth adjustments as well as intensity dimming. The remote is better looking and more durable than other models we've seen out there.
