HXD-ERGO Stair Stepper for Home with Adjustable Handlebar for Full Body

This is a great exercise machine for our home gym for working on the legs, glutes and core. It was very well packaged and assembly was very easy and simple. I love how quite the climber is and it really does work your legs, glutes and core. I appreciate the handle bar for added safety but I can also try to not hold the handle bar to challenge myself, which is much harder. The digital tracker with LCD screen provides various information about the workout status such as time, reps and calories. I found a permanent place for it in my home gym so I don't have to fold and unfold as my wife and I use this machine very frequently but I do appreciate that it can fold flat when not in use. It would have been better if it can be folded without unscrewing 2 big knobs to make it faster and more convenient but it's not a deal breaker and you just have to make sure you don't misplace the 2 knobs after folding it. It's so much easier to work out on your arms and upper body but it's not as easy for legs so this is a great machine. It's very similar to stair climber and I like this machine compared to a treadmill because it's easier on my knees as there's less impact on the knees compared to running. I would like to see a bigger foot pedal but I believe the size of the foot pedals were intentional so it can do more work on your calves. Love this machine and is perfect addon to my home gym.

If you are looking for a gym quality stair stepper this one, is it. I love it!! It's given me the work out I need and I have gotten great results. Only thing I wish is I wish you could adjust the resistance but overall great product for the money for sure! Super solid and stable, quiet I can use this while my kids are asleep and not disturb them and it folds up easily for space- saving. Light weight so you can carry from room to room easily. Highly recommend

Very easy to put together. This machine is decently sized and affordable. Exactly what I was looking for.

Overall good quality and easy to store, its marketed twords adults but is honestly closer to a teenager/kids size. Has a very short leg travel and the foot carriers are far to close to each other. Everyone ive had try it has come away with knee pain from the ergonomics. I would avoid.

The rubber covering on the metal cords split the very first time I used this and if I still try to use it, it smells like there’s a burning smell from the metal on metal, and the cords get very hot to the touch. Unfortunately, my nephew put it together for me as a gift and the shipping box was destroyed and discarded before I used it, so I didn’t attempt a return.

What I liked: 1. Sturdy construction but light enough to move easily and also foldable. Takes up less space than a lot of exercise equipment. 2. Easy to assemble and all tools needed are included. 3. Very affordable. What I didn't like: 1. No way to adjust resistance. The resistance bands it ships with are pretty wimpy. I hope the manufacturer will consider offering replacement bands that offer different levels of resistance. Having said that, I did notice that only after two an a half minutes I was breathing harder. 2. The handlebar is gonna be too short for a lot of people. I'm only 5'6" tall. It's just right for me and I have it on the tallest notch. 3. The foot pedals are too short to support your whole foot. This puts a lot of stress on your calves and I suspect this will be the limiting factor for a lot folks in the beginning until their calf muscles toughen up. More about the resistance bands being wimpy. My biggest concern as I was considering purchasing this product was the stress it would put on my 73 year old knees. I've only used it for a couple of days but so far, no knee pain. Perhaps the wimpy resistance bands are a blessing in that regard. I am sure as my calvers toughen up and I can sustain my exercise time for longer periods on this machine it will give me a pretty good cardio workout.

Easy setup, be sure to and read the instructions before starting. You can assemble by yourself but it's easier with a partner.

I have had this for like a year now I think, I use it moderately and everything still works like new so I'd say good quality. The feet area is a bit small, I am a 6.5 and my whole foot doesn't fit, but that is fine because why not make my work out more challenging? It forces me to move my ankles differently and I think about how I shift my weight. Which to me that is a good thing. Plus it was exactly as described and pictured so I have zero complaints. I also moved once since I got it and I can say it is easy to fold and move, not something I would to daily but for moving it is perfect, so easy. Light and easy to carry. Over all good value for the price. Ot

Well packaged. Easy to assemble although the instruction booklet didn't have English version. I'm sure it will be on-line somewhere. The pictures helped more than anything but it was so easy anyway. Good and sturdy. Nice size. The addition of the clock timer/calories used/counter only took one battery which isn't included. We really enjoyed using this as we are in our Seventies now and live in a bungalow and needed to exercise by climbing stairs (alian to us now). very good value for money.

When I finally started using this stepper,I couldn't believe how hard it was.I had it on the lowest level,and could barely get past the 5 minute mark.If you want something to get your body fit,get this low impact aerobic stepper

Great workout, one of the restraint ropes started to fray not long after using it and therefore I’ve had to return it less than a month of purchase.

I don't have much free time, so I wanted to find an exercise machine to use in front of the TV and multitask. This looked good - not too big, and foldable/storable when not in use. It arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. The instructions were clear and easy to understand, and I had everything up and running within 20-25 minutes. The machine is sturdy but light to move around. It's very quiet to use, and the LED display gives you all your workout information. A really good machine that is getting lots of use.
